For my fellow transmen or anyone else with a below-average dick, this toy provides a wonderfully tight sensation. But anyone with a larger dick should probably not bother - this toy may be too tight to even penetrate.

Pros
Tight enough to be a great fit for non-op transmen Very affordable Detailed interior channel
Cons
Could be too tight for people with average to large dicks Smell may be off-putting to some
Firstly, I'm just going to open with the disclaimer that I have never anally penetrated anyone before, so I can't tell you how realistic it is in that respect. But I can say that as long as you're not too well-endowed, this toy can feel amazing.
Like many male masturbators, the Purple UR3 Ass Palm Pal is a handheld toy, used either by holding it stationary and thrusting into it, or by manually moving it up and down the length of your dick. The squishiness of the toy makes it pretty hard for me to picture anyone being able to wedge it somewhere and thrust into it hands-free.
This toy is clearly designed for use on penises, although I am very happy to report that it is also almost perfect for use by non-op transmen. One of the most common complaints I have read about this toy is that it is far too tight for men with average to large penises, and I have to agree that it is tight enough that I could see it being overwhelming or even unusable for these men. Luckily for myself and other men with quite small dicks, this tightness means that I get a great level of sensation from this toy.
The Purple UR3 Ass Palm Pal is made from Ultra Realistic 3.0 (UR3), which is a mixture of PVC and silicone known as thermal plastic elastomer. The toy has a very squishy yet also rather firm and dense feel when squeezed, and after warming up a bit in my hand the toy often feels even more malleable. The material feels very durable, and unlike other male masturbators such as Tenga eggs, it is definitely not thin enough to make it feel capable of tearing easily.
One aspect which may be slightly off-putting to some users is the smell. This toy has a relatively strong vanilla/plastic scent, which has lingered despite numerous washes. Although the smell is not off-putting enough for me to avoid using this toy (in contrast to my previous review of the Titanmen trainer tool No. 4), I could see this being a potential problem for some users.
The interior of the Purple UR3 Ass Palm Pal is designed to replicate an arse (as the name suggests!), and the wider end of the toy is also quite detailed in order to mimic the appearance of an arse (although the bright purple colour of the toy does provide a slight hint that it's not the real thing).
The 'ass' end of this toy is very narrow and can be quite hard to penetrate without a full erection, although this tightness does widen after about 1 cm into the toy, opening up to a slightly wider channel which runs down the length of the toy. For a less-endowed person like myself, this initial tightness provides a good gripping feel when my dick is pushed in and out of it. Although my dick is too short to come into contact with most of the inside of this toy, it has numerous bumps and nubs lining the interior channel which are designed to provide various types of stimulation.
This toy is open-ended so that if they wish to, users can provide some extra suction by covering the other end with a finger. Of course, this does depend upon the length of their dick. As far as male masturbators go this is a relatively short toy (it really is roughly palm sized, as the name suggests), and I'm guessing that many average or larger-sized dicks would probably pop out of the end of the toy. One added benefit of the open hole at the narrower end of this toy means that it is another potential entrance. This end feels a bit less gripping than the 'ass' end of the toy, and can be a bit easier to penetrate.
UR3 is a very porous material, making it vitally important that this toy is cleaned properly after use, so that bacteria doesn't grow. This porous nature, coupled with my general wariness of soft jelly-like materials such as this, means that I would also recommend using this toy with a condom if possible. Although this material is apparently hypoallergenic and phthalate-free, I prefer to be overly cautious when it comes to sex toys.
UR3 cannot be sterilised with boiling water, so the best way to clean this toy is to wash it with some warm water and anti-bacterial soap and then leave it to air-dry. If it starts becoming too sticky after being washed, a light dusting with some cornstarch will help remove this stickiness. Store in a cool dark place, and don't bring this toy into contact with other toys because the porous nature of UR3 makes it very incompatible with many other substances.
Water-based lubricants are the only types of lube which will not damage the material of this toy.

Follow-up commentaryI still like it3 months after original review
I do still like this toy, although I don't think that I've used it once since I wrote my review. This is mostly due to sheer laziness, but I supppose it indicates that although I do like this toy, I clearly don't love it enough to seek it out very frequently.
