The Hot Octopuss pocket pulse is a remote-controlled masturbator. You can start using it while you're flaccid as the strap will adjust with you. There are two motors, and it stimulates your whole shaft. This toy is great for solo use or partner play. We have used this mainly for foreplay. I would say make sure you use plenty of water-based lubricant with this. Also, since this is waterproof, you can use it in the shower if you'd like. The remote control is also waterproof. This being a smaller toy, it would be easy to travel with.

The material this is made of is silicone, and the backside is ABS plastic. The silicone part isn't as smooth and velvety feeling as a lot of the silicone toys I own. It almost feels more like rubber, but it is still a smooth feeling. The strap on this is firm but also flexible, so it's a nice fit around your penis. The toy had a small, like new smell to it, but nothing that smelled bad. The silicone feels firmer, and this glides extremely nice when you add the lubricant to it. Silicone is hypo-allergenic and also non-porous, so it doesn't harbor any bacteria. It's also latex and phthalates free. I think this toy seems suitable for all users.

My husband enjoyed the way this felt and how it worked. This toy is small and would be great for travel. Since the strap part on this is pretty flexible, it would fit just about anyone. This toy, having a storage bag, is really easy to store, and it doesn't take up much space at all. The length of this is 4 1/2 inches long and weighs 0.5lbs. My husband personally enjoys the continuous vibrations the best, but it does lack the other vibration functions.

In the instructions it says to charge for 4 hours. Once we plugged it in, the light was red, and once charged it, turned blue. This took only 2 hours to charge and not the 4. I'm guessing the next time we need to charge it, that it may take the 4 hours. In order to turn this on, you'll hold the plus sign on Hot Octopuss for roughly 2 seconds. Then you can click the button to increase the intensity. The minus sign on the other side turns down the intensity. To turn this back off, you'll hold the minus sign for roughly 2 seconds. There are two motors in this toy, so it can stimulate both sides. There are also 5 different vibration intensity levels.

The remote control does take a battery, and the bottom of the remote has a twist-off cap. I couldn't open it, but my husband had no issues. The remote takes a cr2032. Once you turn on Hot Octopuss, then you can use the remote. It has the plus and minus sign on it. The Hot Octopuss only has a continuous vibration, so you can just increase or decrease the intensity with it.

The toy says it's 100% waterproof, but we have not used that feature yet. The toy can sound noisy on the highest intensity level, but it's quiet on a low setting. It's nothing that a TV or fan wouldn't be able to block out.

Since this toy is waterproof, I just wash it with soap and water and then dry it with a towel. You can also use a toy cleaner if you'd like. Since this is silicone, only use a water-based lubricant with this.

This arrived in the mail in a discreet brown box. Inside, this was in a gold looking box with writing on it. Inside it was packaged in a black plastic container along with the remote. Once you pull it out, there was a little pamphlet with a few things about it. Tucked in the bottom of the black plastic container was a very nice silky black storage bag. I think this was very well packaged and the black storage bag is really nice.

This toy has been a fun toy for my husband and me to use for foreplay. We have just begun using male toys, and this is the second one we've used. It's very beginner-friendly and is super easy to hold onto. I have tiny hands and have no issues. Some toys seem to be kind of bulky and look like they may be harder to hold onto.

With this toy, we used a couple of squirts of water-based lubricant on the toy, and then I rubbed some on my husband's penis and turned Hot Octopuss on a medium vibration. It seemed to glide nicely on his penis. We both really enjoy using the Hot Octopuss. Also since it's so small, I'm sure we will pack it along on vacations.
