Fun Factory's Loverings come packaged in a small box, stylized in black and tan like other Fun Factory products. Through the window, you can see the Lovering sitting in its plastic tray. Loverings are available in red with flame like nubs or, the one I have, black with rounded nubs. Typical of a Fun Factory product, there is a small product catalog and information included. However, there is no sample packet of lube which would be nice; lubrication is usually necessary for us to apply cock rings comfortably. There is also not a magnetic flap on the back of the box, probably because Loverings are simpler than other Fun Factory products.

Out of the box and tray, the silicone cock ring is pleasant to look at and feel. The unstretched Lovering has a diameter of about 3/4" inch and 6 round-ish, nobs protrude from the outside, like rays of the sun. These nubs vary in size and shape with some being little circles less than 1/4" in length and others ranging to 3/4" of an inch long in varying widths but no wider than 3/4" as well. Overall, it's a rather fun and whimsical appearance. I had fun making shadow shapes with it in the candle light.

The silicone is quite soft and has give when you pinch it. On the down side, the soft silicone does attract a fair bit of lint and this was extremely noticeable when I patted the black ring dry with my white towel. Because it is only for external use, I do see this as less of an issue.

Although the soft silicone has stretch, of course, it does not stretch as much as other cock rings I have used (like the Senso 6 Pack). I can stretch it to a 2.5" diameter with my fingers but hesitate to stretch it more; more well endowed men might have trouble using this. The directions also state that the product is made only for wearing around the penis, not the scrotum as many cock rings are traditionally worn. I imagine this is due to the fact that it doesn't have as much stretch.

The Lovering is probably best applied onto a semi-erect penis to avoid discomfort. I believe we waited just a tad too long and my husband found putting it on to be a bit unpleasant (it initially felt tight) despite the fact that I used a bit of lube (water based is the way to go with silicone products). However, I did like the appearance after it was on. The solid black was more masculine than other rings I've used and, while the nubs didn't exactly make his cock look like "a piece of jewelry" as the packaged explains, it was fun to look at.

The included information says this will work to increase size and lasting time as well as stimulate the partner. I felt like my husband's erection was noticeably larger in size and could almost feel it stroking every ridge of my G-spot. The nubs provided no extra stimulation for my clit, despite the fact that I had the ring positioned so that the longer ones faced me. In fact, I couldn't feel the ring itself at all.

I didn't notice any increase at all in lasting time. This would probably be more noticeable if the Lovering were meant to be worn around the scrotum as well. My husband would also have preferred the cock ring to be worn that way as it feels better for him. His post sex feelings were a mix of disappointment and dissatisfaction. He felt that the ring seemed quality and expected something more from it because of that. He would have been happier with a ring which also prolonged erection and felt the size increase was only for me.

After discussing the ring, he headed to the bathroom to wash it up. Because it's nonporous, soap and water will work well for washing. If you are especially concerned about germs, it could be run through the dishwasher (if you dare putting such a small item in there!) on the top shelf without soap, soaked in a 10% bleach solution or boiled for 3 minutes.

As it stands, I enjoyed the size increase the Lovering gave my husband but his lack of enthusiasm will probably mean it doesn't become a regular part of our sex lives. For us, a ring which is meant to go around the penis and scrotum to prolong erection would have been more effective.
