We weren't quite sure if the pump would really work, but heck why not try something different. When the package came and I opened the box I was concerned when I didn't see an instruction sheet. It took minutes before I realized there were some quick instructions on the side of the packaging. Now I realize that it seems like a simple toy, but we wanted to be safe--hey my husband's genitals were at stake. It's a good thing we did read the instructions because damage can result from misuse and really who wants to mess up their penis?

That night we decided to try it. My husband just slipped it on, of course without listening to me tell him about the lube. He realized when trying to take it off why there is a sample of lube. Though I will note that with or without lube, it hurts. The material was uncomfortable for my husband. At first we tried the pump without the cock ring. My husband pumped his penis and then would take it out. It didn't make his penis bigger and when he took it out, because it hurt, it softened the erection.

According to the instructions, the cock ring is to be stretched over the end of the pump. After the penis is pumped you are to pull it off onto the penis. We couldn't stretch the ring to fit over the pump! Even if we were able to, my husband was worried that the hard rubber would chafe on his penis. The whole thing was funny/horrible to watch. The pump has not been used since and is in my drawer. For now it is a gag, perhaps another time we will try it again.

I wouldn't recommend this pump (and perhaps any). We do not have a successful time with it.
