The Lia Magic Ring is a vibrating cock ring by California Exotics that was designed to accomodate larger men and give them more than just one vibration setting.

This ring is built of quality material that seems to stand up to the test of time as opposed to most rings that are made of PVC, aren't body safe, and break after the third use. This can be used to stimulate the clitoris of the woman during intercourse while promoting blood flow, making for a harder erection in the man.

There are 2 holes to insert the bullet into the ring so you have the option to positon the bullet closer to your own body, or hers. (Note: the design of this toy was to appeal to heterosexual pairs, not that lesbians couldn't find a use for it.)

This ring does have texture. My fiance' claims he could barely feel it. This toy does tend to "pull and grab" so lube would probably be a good idea (water-based only). This toy could also be used during oral sex to enhance any blow job.

The bullet that is included with this ring is constructed of plastic which is an 8 on the Eden safety scale, while the actual ring is constructed of silicone making it a 10 on the Eden safety scale. This is non-porous, hypo-allergenic, latex and phthalates free.

This ring does have quite a bit of drag to it and can pinch skin and/or pull hairs. It can collect lint and/or dust so I recommend rinsing it off before use.

It can be disinfected by boiling just the ring for 3 minutes or washing it with a 10% bleach solution. This ring does stretch quite a bit making it easy to put on and remove. The plastic bullet is also non-porous and is very rigid.

There are a few textures on this ring. First there is a bit of texture covering the bullet that is designed to tease the clit. It was noticeable during use but not overwhelming. The ring itself has a little bit of texture. There are 4 "ribs", if you will, on the inside of the ring. My lover said they were not noticeable during use. They are really just there for looks and serve no purpose.



Out of the box was a slight plastic scent that dissipated after the first wash and there was no taste.

This toy has a great design overall. It served its function so I couldn't ask for much more. The ring that was on the product page is not what I recieved in the mail so please refer to my pictures to see the actual product.



The bullet does have an o-ring making it waterproof for fun in the shower or the bath. The color of the bullet is the color of the ring. I recieved mine in blue. The holes in the ring where the bullet is to be inserted could probably fit most bullet sized vibes.



The Lia Magic Ring is pretty small in size. When I measured this, it was roughly 3 1/4" long, give or take. It can accommodate any man up to 2 inches in diameter.


The bullet for this toy isn't tapered in any way. This isn't very discreet. If you left it sitting out, I'm sure someone passing through would know exactly what it was. The small size of this would make it super easy to travel with.

This ring is very buzzy but not extremely loud. It is about 2.5 bees and 2 vrooms on its highest setting. You might be able to hear it from under a blanket, but not if there is background noise. You probably couldn't hear this through a closed door.

There is a simple push button at the end of the bullet. You simply press the button to make the vibrations begin and they will start at low. To continue to cycle through the functions you keep pressing the button. You can turn the bullet off at any time by pressing and holding the button down for approximately 3 seconds. When you turn the toy back on it will begin back at low.

The functions for this ring are as follows:

The bullet does have an o-ring making it waterproof. I have not tested that yet. I have run it under water to wash it and the vibrations did not seem to become any weaker.

This ring would be powerful enough for most. This would be great for anyone as there are so many functions. There is bound to be something to suit everyones fancy. The vibrations in this ring are very buzzy, but I have yet to find a ring with rumbly vibrations.

This ring runs off of 3 watch batteries.

The care and maintenance for this ring is very simple. The bullet can be cleaned with anti-bacterial soap and water. The ring itself can be cleaned with anti-bacterial soap and water, your favorite toy cleaner, or a 10% bleach solution.

This ring does need to be stored away from other silicone toys. If you store them touching other silicone toys, they will "melt" together and ruin them both. You shouldn't use silicone-based lubricant for similar reasons.

There is texture on the ring that collects juices and needs semi-special attention during cleaning. It does tend to grab onto hair and lint etc. I recommend rinsing it off before each use and cleaning it fully after each use.

This ring came in a simple box with a window on the front displaying the ring. On the back there was simple information about the ring. It wasn't very discreet but there were no lewd photos or words. Inside the box was the ring inside of a clamshell insert that also included 6 watch batteries.



The box wouldn't be great for storage because it is flimsy and probably wouldn't hold up for long. This wouldn't be good for gift giving because the ring is on display on the front of the box. If someone opened it up at Christmas you could imagine what awkward conversation that might generate.

This ring worked for us overall. I'm giving this 3 out 5 stars. I would have given it 4 if it ran off of a AAA battery and not watch batteries and if the vibrations weren't as buzzy. If something happened to this one I probably wouldn't purchase another one for those reasons.

California Exotics created a great product. It just isn't worth the investment of the watch batteries. I did love the fact that this was multi-functional and came in a nice color.
