Unfortunately, the results might not be quite what you were hoping for, but that might all depend on the size and shape of your penis. Insert the batteries, insert your erect penis and move the slider on the controller to begin the movement of the internals of the sleeve.

The exterior sides of the sleeve are clear, so it is easy to see the mechanism move up and down. While there are several evidences of the sleeve’s operation including noise and vibration, it is nice to have clear sides to make sure everything is operating properly and to really see the action. Although the inner sleeve is translucent, it really isn’t clear enough to feel like you can see all the activity.

The exterior of the Vertical Turbo Stroker is hard plastic. This obviously protects all the internals from damage. It comes with a screw-on cap over the opening to protect the opening of the inner sleeve from dirt. The inner sleeve is made of Senso. This material is very soft and skin like. If anything it may be a little too sticky, but it is definitely comfortable and stretchy and makes easy allowance for the entering penis. The opening and interior surface of the sleeve is nubbed to provide additional stimulation during use. The material of the inner sleeve is actually relatively thin, much more so than a Fleshlight sleeve. Space needs to be maintained for the moving mechanism, but it actually has a very “hollow” feel to it.

The exterior dimensions of the Vertical Turbo Stroker are very large. It isn’t quite as long as a Fleshlight, but the cylinder is about the same diameter as the large part of a Fleshlight and it doesn’t taper down. This means that it requires a pretty big hand to hold the Stroker comfortably. If you had some help with the controller, you could use both hands to hold the Stroker, or maybe she/he could hold the Stroker for you while you man the controls. It really isn’t necessarily a two person device, but the wide grip required to hold the Stroker may tire quickly. The controller could also be set down after finding the desired speed, which frees up both hands for the cylinder.
The space inside the sleeve is relatively accommodating, but this may represent the biggest problem with this device. The inner sleeve is stretchy enough to accommodate most guys, but it may not necessarily provide enough stimulation smaller guys. If a guy is too large or has a funny curve to his penis, it may not allow free movement of the device internals which don’t have enough torque to overcome much resistance.

The controller for the Vertical Turbo Stroker is BIG. It has to hold 4 “C” batteries, so it is big for that reason alone, but it also has a wide base on it so it can stand up on its own. The control portion is actually a simple slider which is effective enough in this application. The construction of the controller is actually pretty cheap, and although that doesn’t necessarily lessen its effectiveness it definitely doesn’t have the appearance of a high end toy.

There are several speeds for the Stroker motor which is a nice feature. The mechanism that moves inside is about an inch and a half long and with a movement of about two and a half inches it results in about four inches of potential stimulation. It doesn’t approach the opening of the device though so the base of your penis receives no stimulation. A shorter penis is also going to miss out on movement at the end, so there are situations which may result in little stimulation.

This may be the trickiest part of the Vertical Turbo Stroker. The Senso material of the inner sleeve is very porous. Fortunately, it can be removed from within the hard outer shell pretty simply and washed out. Anti-bacterial toy cleaner or mild soap can be used for cleaning. The inner sleeve can be turned completely inside-out to help in cleaning as well. The inner sleeve should be allowed to air dry following cleaning as storage while wet may result in bacterial growth. Only water based lube is acceptable as other types of lube may damage the material. The connector from the controller looks similar to a headphone cord so disconnection is very easy. The mechanism does not seem waterproof, however, so care should be taken when cleaning the outer shell. The controller is also not waterproof, so this is definitely not a toy for use in the shower or tub.

The packaging of the Vertical Turbo Stroker is pretty straight forward. The whole thing is wrapped in bubble wrap and encased in a glossy cardboard box designed for hanging or display. The box is pretty large since the Stroker is so big, so there is a lot of real estate on the box to display pictures and information. There are no pictures of scantily clad or naked women or men on the box, so it is discreet. There is a small instruction sheet provided, but it only explains battery installation and is generic for different types of vibrators. I guess one can figure out how to use it pretty easily.

Over the past couple of years, I have had opportunity to try out several different masturbation devices. One that moves up and down the shaft was a new experience for me, so I was excited to give it a shot. Unfortunately, this device really didn’t do much for me. The beads could hardly be felt as they moved up and down.
