This was our first experience with a vibrating ring, and it didn't make a lasting impression. The most pleasure it gave was when we turned on the vibrator while holding it in our hands to see how intense it was.


The packaging is semi-hard plastic that is resealable for continued storage for the ring. The picture on the packaging is not subtle but then again, the packaging is clear plastic so no secrets there. The ring comes with four batteries and after inserting one at a time, I figured out that two were needed. Yay...an extra set when the first ones wear out. There were instructions included but one of us doesn't like to read instructions especially ones that are 3' long, 3" wide, written in nine different languages, and size 6 font. Call us crazy, but if we cannot figure out how to install batteries, we shouldn't be trusted with using the toy.


We were happy with the color - a semi-translucent charcoal black - and the feel of the material was squishy (technical term)- TPE (Thermoplastic elastomers) and ABS (Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene). We had to look up the materials and it doesn't exactly give you the warm fuzzies. The stretch potential with the ring was impressive so it can certainly be worn by men of different sizes.

When it came to putting the ring to use, we decided that we would try it both with the vibrator facing up - more pleasure for her - and with the vibrator facing down - more pleasure for the boys. The vibration was so minor once it was in play that it was almost unnoticeable. The most memorable thing about using the vibrating ring was when the batteries died after 20 minutes. Not good for continued play but worth a good laugh when the toy gave out before us.

After our first and only use, we removed the vibrator from the housing and washed the ring in warm soapy water. The ring has remained in our "toy chest" until we started writing the review. After removing the ring from plastic packaging, we pressed the on/off switch for the vibrator and it worked! Perhaps the batteries just needed a rest.
