Big ‘Maybe So’
The Big O is a pretty basic, relatively inexpensive, stretchy vibrating cock ring. Unlike other members of the Screaming O collection, the Big O is setup so you can actually replace the batteries. This feature means it costs a little more, but if it gets used a lot, the extra money is worth it. My partner found that the toy did not provide the contact she was looking for and I wasn’t all that impressed with it’s impact on my erection or endurance.

Pros
Soft material; Very stretchy
Cons
Not positioned quite right; Weak vibrations
So, the three options are ‘yes’, ‘no’, and ‘maybe so’. To me, the Big O vibrating cock ring by Bushman Products fits in the ‘maybe so’ category. It functions adequately as a stretchy vibrating cock ring. The material is soft and stretchy which makes putting it on simple whether you want to wear it in front of or behind your balls. The stretchiness of the material means that it doesn’t influence your erection and endurance as much as other rings though.
The soft material of the Big O is a silicone blend (TPR silicone) which Bushman Products likes to call SEBS silicone gel. It is definitely an improvement over jelly because it shouldn’t have any phthalates, but it can’t be sterilized like pure silicone. I don’t plan on sharing it with any one and it is non-penetrative, so it’s really okay. TPR silicone also limits lubricant choices to water based lubes only.
As far as the vibrator goes, it is a small, watch-battery vibrator, so strength isn’t too impressive. It has a high-pitched whine indicative of vibrators this size, but it really isn’t all that noisy. It is really only one speed, but continuing to press the button on the side will cycle it through several modes of vibration. This is pretty impressive for a little vibrator, but I don’t know that my partner and I have ever decided that we really enjoyed one pattern over another. I think we both prefer constant vibration, instead, since then we know what to expect. I wanted to make sure that the material was stretchy enough to remove the vibrator since it is really wrapped in TPR silicone except for the button, so I took it out and put it back in without damage to the toy.
Unfortunately, my main problem with the Big O is in its use. It doesn’t hit my partner’s clit very well. That seems like biggest determining factor for a vibrating cock ring in my mind. I haven’t found one that does exactly what I want it to, but I’ll keep searching. It may work better for you and your partner, though, and it isn’t too expensive to give it a shot, so why not?

Experience
The Big O ring has tons of reviews already, so why am I adding to the list? Only so that people can have available my particular experience with this ring and how it influenced my understanding of cock rings in general.
I got the Big O pretty early on in my foray into sex toys and it is one of the toys that made me realize silicone blends don’t play nice with each other and need to be stored individually. I inadvertently allowed a TPR silicone dildo to remain in contact with the Big O for a while and when I examined them later they had both deformed at the contact points. The dildo got thrown away (we didn’t like it any way) but it didn’t really impact the use of the Big O so we have kept it around.
