We have tried different types of rings: hard plastic, jelly-type, etc., and I think we like this one best! The design itself is simple - a rubber tube with two threaded beads. The larger loop is big enough to slip over the shaft, and then the bead is moved up to keep it tight. The length is a little tight to also use the second space as a testicular ring, and several times, the bottom bead fell off while trying to get everything fitted. An additional inch or two of tubing would be nice, but that might also result in pieces of rubber flapping around too!

This is an extremely comfortable, effective ring system. The beads hold the tubing nicely, resulting in just enough pressure without being uncomfortable. We did discover that tightening the beads can pinch the skin a bit; however, it's not enough to hurt you and can be avoided by carefully watching what you're doing. Also, because the beads fit so tightly around the rubber, there really isn't enough room to pull the skin in, so they won't actually trap the skin or cause damage. Also, despite holding tight when you need it, loosening the loop was very easy... just pull down on the bead, and everything opens up.
