This is a masturbator for men, plain and simple. The attached hand pump can change the girth of the jelly sleeve to accommodate most cocks (picture a cheap blood pressure bag). It is manipulated by hand (or with the help of a partner), or it could be used hands free by wedging it between some cushions, mattresses, or a toy holder of some sort. It is NOT a penis pump. You can insert your dick and pump it tight though, and it is a cool sensation, but it pushes your dick back out when you do it.

It is waterproof, so it could be used in a tub/shower if you choose (but you won't). There are no moving parts or electronics to worry about.

Can be used solo or with a partner, but I can't see anyone choosing this over a partners hand, orifice, or anything else you could rub your penis between, quite frankly.

The case is translucent red ABS plastic, the sleeve is made of jelly-like soft/tacky TPR, and the pump is PVC. It is a hollow sleeve with about 3/4" tentacles or "ticklers" all around the inside to stimulate your penis. There is a slight smell to the insert that is synthetic but not off putting and goes away after washing. The material is a 2 on the safety scale, and it would not be recommended for sharing. Speaking of sharing, the only thing worse than using the Throb master would be having to use it after someone else did. Visually this doesn't look enticing at all. It looks more like a penis torture chamber or cock scrubber than a masturbator.

The box claims it feels "life-like", but don't be fooled. It was enough to get my horny hard dick to cum once, but nowhere close to life like you get in a fleshlight.

I used water based lube (Jack off by Zero Tolerance), and it performed well for the job at hand (pun intended).
I recommend being generous with the lube on both your penis and the insert.

The case has a matching red cap for storage and the insert is removable for cleaning.

The toy is a plastic cylinder resembling a penis pump, but it is not. The pump is simply used to adjust the size of the sleeve. If you pump it too much, you either can't get your penis in or out without pulling the sleeve out of the case. If you have lube on your hands, the outside of the case gets slippery and messy (and then your sheet will too). It is not as long as fleshlight, nor is the insertable part as long and about as wide as the widest part of a fleshlight.

The sleeve is not very wide. If you have a really thick cock (5 1/2" circ+), you will barely be able to inflate this thing. I measure in around 5.25" and was only able to add a little air and still allow thrusting to take place. So, if you have a big thick member, you will want to look elsewhere for sure.

I expected this to have more of a pump function, which might be fun. If you are already inserted, you can definitely feel the sleeve tighten and then just rotate the locking mechanism to retain the air. If you have any girth at all though, the range of usable adjustment is minimal.

The only control is the pump as stated earlier. I recommend inserting your penis, pumping til you feel enough pressure, but can slide in and out while lubricated and then locking the air lock. Then stroke away and adjust tightness as needed. It can make some slurpy noises depending on the degree of tightness and amount of lube used.

You can remove the sleeve and wash in hot soapy water, rinse with alcohol or use toy wipes. Be sure to let dry before putting back inside the toy to deter any mold growth. You can air dry, towel dry or blast with a hair dryer or fan for quicker drying times.

It's fairly large sized so it might take up some room in your drawer, and it is not discreet, so you may need to hide it somewhere else.

The packaging is a basic box with photos of the toy and the words "Throb Master" clearly in print. It is not discreet at all. Inside, the plastic casing was wrapped in bubble wrap and a plastic bag. The box is not ideal for long term storage.

There are no directions for use, so you have to just figure it out on your own. It was rather easy though, I admit. My penis has a mind for these types of things and always finds a way to get off. The first time anyway.

I've never jacked off with bubble wrap, but my guess is it is equal to or better than the Throb Master sleeve.

If you love your penis, treat it to something better than the Throb Master. It will thank you! There are many better choices out there. My personal recommendation is one of the Fleshlight girls, but any one of their many options are better than the throbmaster.

If it were the only masturbator on the planet, perhaps then I would use the hell out of it or just jack off. I'm not sure what the MSRP of the Throb Master is, but I guarantee it is too much. I don't think it's worth whatever the cost to ship it is.

At the time of this writing, the Throb Master is not available for purchase at EF, and I don't see that changing any time soon, based on the other reviews. In fact, I'd be willing to bet EF was just clearing out unsold inventory when they offered me this assignment, being that the other reviews were already a few yrs old.

If you don't pump the chamber at all the sleeve will slide out when you stroke.

Frankly, when I saw this and read the earlier reviews, my hopes were let down, and I really set the bar low, expecting it to be a dud. It did not look inviting to stick my penis inside, and my girlfriend even made a scrunchy face when I showed her what came in the mail and said "Why would you want to stick your penis in that!".
