Pros
Versatile and flexible erection enhancers made from body safe silicone
Cons
The diameter of the silicone is too small
Although cock rings and cock'n ball (CNB) rings can be use by males of all ages, I personally discovered them when looking for a solution to the decreasing erection performance - call it pre-ED if you like.
Although my favorite - and best performing rings are stainless steel CNB rings, flexible silicone rings like these are a great option for beginners, those afraid of the metal option and those on a budget. One reason I keep the silicone rings handy is that if I have started to become aroused, I cannot get the metal ring on - but because the silicone stretches, I can easily put it on and get back into the action.
This is my second set of silicone rings - the first set was white and a little more robust in diameter (1/4" vs. 3/16"). Although they lasted a long time, the largest ring (the one I wore most often) broke because I failed to heed the warning to avoid silicone lubricants with silicone toys. In other words it was all my fault.
This new black set of three rings are advertised as 2-1/8" ; 1-5/8" ; 1-3/8" in diameter. This dimension is the center line diameter. Since the rings are made with 1/8-3/16" diameter silicone, the internal diameters (ID) are 1/8" less meaning they are 2" ; 1-1/2" ; 1-14". As stated earlier the rings are they are less robust than the 1/4" diameter silicone rings they replace.
The advantage is that they stretch more easily - the disadvantage is that they apply less pressure meaning that for some they may be less effective than a heavier silicone ring.
Here's how it works out for me. The old 2" ring did a better job for me than the new one. However the new 1.5" is easier to stretch around - making it more comfortable for CNB use.
I've also experimented with using 2 rings are once. Since the small ring is too small for CNB use, I now use it as a cock ring in tandem with one of the larger rings as a CNB ring. It's marginally more effective and an interesting new twist.

Experience
A little more about the use and effectiveness of cock rings.
Even though I have few erection issues when masturbating - I have found that an unexpected distraction, either sight, sound or just in my head can result in deflation - and some difficulty reengaging. The rings do a fairly good job of preventing the deflation.
Another advantage is that staying hard for a period of time after orgasm has become impossible (I'm 58+). The rings do a great job of keeping me erect after orgasm - which is often a big plus for my wife.
One word of caution - silicone rings like this are going to create some issues for those men out that are au natural - it's easy to see some hair pulling discomfort when putting the ring on - but especially when taking it off. I've been shaving for years so its not a problem for me. Metal rings are a good choice for men who retain pubic hair.
I've seen some questions in the forum asking about restriction of ejaculation. I have no idea where this 'myth' comes from. I've used many types of rings - none of them have ever prevented or inhibited ejaculation.
One last little perk - the rings do a good enough job of retaining blood flow, that you will actually be slightly larger. Not huge - but it's enough of difference that my wife is pleased by the result. As a side effect of this - you may notice (depending on the shade of your skin) that your erection will appear a brighter red or purple from the extra blood. This is probably why its not a good idea to wear a ring for a long period of time. I keep my usage to 1 hour or less for each session.

Follow-up commentary
20 days after original review
The silicone support rings are holding up well. I often use the largest and smallest in tandem - with the large one around my cock and balls and the small one around the base of my cock.
Be sure to avoid silicone lube and this set should last you a long time.

Thanks for another great review! I've tried rings like these and I agree that they're not as effective as steel. But being able to put them on and/or take them off even with an erection makes them a good "backup" option.
