Bamboo believer
The thruster bikini, by Male Power, is made from the extremely soft bamboo material, which is not only comfortable, but keeps you cool, dry and bacteria free. They are expensive for a pair of underwear, but Male Power makes quality items and compared to some other designers, I guess their price is not off the charts. Bamboo is a truly wonderful fabric, you must try, whatever style suits you.

I recently purchased the Teal Bamboo lounge pants and loved the material so much, I got the bikinis too. Male Power is one of my favorite underwear brands, but they are not cheap, so my collection is limited. I have always had a bit of an underwear fetish and have a vast collection. I love having different styles, fabrics and colors.
These come in teal or black. Unfortunately, teal was out of stock, so I went for the black, while I had the chance to get them in my size. I usually opt for large, as I did with these, but a Medium would have probably fit OK, considering they are baggy in front. I like support generally, but not too tight in the crotch or waist. These are designed to have a looser fit in front, which gives you room for an erection or to just jut out more, which is where I believe the "thruster bikini" name come from. I have another male power bikini of a different style/material that is also a thruster. They poke out when you are hard, and poke down when you are flaccid more than a standard brief/bikini. They are very comfortable too. If you like your manhood pointing down while wearing underwear, they are good for that too. They have no double liner in front like some briefs, as well. You can adjust the amount of support or looseness by pulling the waistband up or down too for a more or less snug fit, depending on your taste.
The material is 95% bamboo and 5% spandex. The waistband has the MP logo on it and is your average waistband size for briefs. I am usually not a big fan of logos on waistbands, but this one is more subtle than some with just MP on them. To me, this is more of a brief style than bikini. They are larger on the sides like a brief.
The material is very soft and comfortable. It has antibacterial and antimicrobial properties, whisks away moisture and keeps your skin cool. They are machine washable on cool and can be machine dried on cool settings too, or just air dry. Do not use bleach and do not iron.
The fit is pretty good. Male Power sizes tend to run a hair large. The front fits pretty well, while the rear feels good, but it looks a bit baggy and over-sized for my liking. Not very flattering in back. My waist is around 36-38 right now, but I bought large sizes previously in this sort of style when I was a bit slimmer for shrinkage reasons and to have more room in the pouch. My rear usually fits better in a medium. If not for the fabric, I'd be less inclined to have purchased these. The bamboo makes up for the other faults. I consider them more of an everyday pair for comfort than anything sexy or for special occasions. I have plenty of other better pairs for that.
The underwear comes in a large cardboard box with a photo of a model in the underwear. It is similar in size to the pants I got. It is informative and recyclable.
If bikinis are not your thing, they also come in other styles: Boxer brief, boxer shorts and lounge pants. All in the same color choices and fabric. Personally, I wish they had more skimpy styles and thongs in bamboo. More colors too.
The size chart is as follows:
Waist (in)
Small 27 - 31
Medium 32 - 34
Large 36 - 38
XL 40 - 42

Experience
My girlfriend saw these sitting out after I had opened the box and picked them up and liked the feel of the bamboo fabric and commented on it right away, so I know she will be a fan of these.
Sorry for the pic being a bit blurry and not up to my standards.

Follow-up commentary

I still like theses, because of the color and soft fabric. They aren't my favorite underwear, because of the thick waistband and not the most flattering on me, but they are nice and held up for a long time.

Thank you for the great review. You look very comfy in them; too bad my husband only wears the mid-rise cut, or else I'll get him a pair.
