Almost Perfect
For a pair of silk boxer briefs that will last you a long time and hold up to some pretty serious abuse, you may be in the right spot. They're well made and comfortable, but don't plan on getting in and out of the bathroom in a flash, as there's no convenient flap in the front for ease of use. The legs are also shorter than some people may like, but the fit is flattering and the material is comfortable and feels nice on the skin.

Pros
Soft material, well made, comfortable fit that flatters and accentuates
Cons
Lack of front flap, short leg length
The packaging: These fancy sounding undergarments came in pretty much the exact envelope you might expect for something like this. It wasn't overly cheesy which was very nice, but they still would have looked more at home in an adult store than on the shelf at Target or Kohls. They give you a short overview of the materials, sizing, and what you'll find inside.
The materials and care: These boxer briefs are listed as silk, and I don't have good enough cause to argue with that. They have a very nice feel to them, soft and silky but not too slippery in most settings. If you wear only these in a bed that's got some satin or silk sheets on them, you may find yourself sliding around more than you'd like, but for most uses they won't be a hindrance.
On this model, like most, you're seeing something relatively solid and opaque. What comes out of the packaging is more on the translucent side. When they're sitting on the bed they can't be seen through, but once you actually have them on and they start to stretch a bit they won't be as solid. You can't really see fine details through them, but if you have tattoos they may be visible.
All of the instructions I've been able to find for these say that you can machine wash in cold water on the gentle cycle with gentle detergent, and either tumble dry on low or hang to dry. Obviously for the best results you want to treat them as gently as possible, but they'll hold up to a few years of regular machine washing.
The quality: If you extend more care to your pair, they may last you even longer than ours. The stitching was high quality and the first thing to go after we had had them for what seems like ages was the bottom panel. Even then it wasn't a quality issue so much as because the material is thinner and softer, it just wore out with the consistent use.
The sizing and the fit: The company lists their sizing chart as:
Small 28-30
Medium 32-34
Large 36-38
Extra large 40-42
My husband is usually right around a 36, and comes in at 6' and just about 210 pounds, so we decided to go with the size large. He was pretty happy with the overall way everything fit him and found them to be comfortable during all of his general activities. They were on the tighter end of things, so if you like a looser fit order a size up.
The comfort factor: The material really is a big plus as far as comfort is concerned. It's soft and breathable, but doesn't feel restricting or too breezy. The waistband is on the thicker side, but isn't anything more noteworthy than most of the other underwear he wears. The length of the legs may leave something to be desired, but everything else gets hugged in a supportive but not overbearing way. The biggest kicker is that there's no flap in the front, so to use the restroom you have to actually pull them down instead of being able to pull through the hole.

Experience
This is one of those things we've had floating around our house for ages now. When they were first released on the site I remember getting really excited and my husband looking over my shoulder and saying "oooooooh." They accentuated everything very nicely on him and he really did enjoy wearing them even if they aren't always his first choice in underwear. The only reason these get glossed over is because of the lack of a hole in the front panel. For him, it's mildly infuriating to have to completely undo his pants and drop everything to pee and that's the only big flaw he has with these. Even then he still wore them regularly for a number of years before the fabric towards the bottom started to wear out.
