Simply put, this is a middle of the road toy. If you really like tight masturbators, this is worth checking out. If you are looking for a better overall masturbator, you can easily find one here on Eden. Beginners might also find the purchase useful, but people with a sizable men's sex toy collection probably won't find this toy a useful purchase.
The best use of this toy is for use as a male masturbator for solo or couples play. The toy must be secured with a hand or some other technique and cannot be used freestanding. The toy stimulates the entire length of the penis, although not all at once if you thrust out the other end. Given the cost, material and design, I would rank this an entry level masturbator for someone who wants to start or add to a small toy collection.
There is a light rubber odor to the toy when you first use it. The biggest downfall to this material as manufactured for this toy is that it gets sticky. What ends up happening is that the toy essentially has two distinct states. One state where the material has the proper powder applied and feels nice as well as sticky free, and another state where the powder is washed off and the material feels like a mediocre sticky, rubbery material. The material has no taste and will taste like whatever lube and powder you are using.
For the actual texture of the "vagina" the outside of box states that is super smooth and also contains nodules. It certainly doesn't take on the status quo of a straight tunnel with ribbing, instead it's more of a spiral type design if you can imagine that. It is smooth in some places and has little bumps in others. This is how it manages to provide a super tight feeling.
At the end of the day I suppose the sticky factor isn't that big of a deal. During normal use you really don't notice it and I am not sure if it leads to any other negative effects like increasing lint tractability or leaving residue. It is a bummer, considering other masturbator materials don't have the same trait.
The material in discussion is some form of TPR. The fine print says "This product is NONTOXIC. It complies with European Standard for Safety of Toys - EN71:Part3:1994, amendment A1:2000 on migration of certain elements. Total cadmium content is in accordance with EC Directive 91/338/EC." Also listed on the box as "Clinically Sophisticated. Nontoxic. No phthalates content."
I am not sure if it has to do with the material itself or the mold the toy was poured into, but upon closer inspection the toy has some pits/cracks in it. On the outside of the toy it is not a big deal but it is more severe on the inside and I think it impacts performance a bit.
The shape is nice and actually provides a relatively nice heft to it. The toy is really tight, as something being labeled as "Fresh Innocence" might imply. This pocket pussy might possibly be tight to a fault for some. The toy is all but impossible to penetrate unless the proper amount of lube is used. The tightness also can numb the feeling of the inside texture until that section of the vagina is lubricated sufficiently.
The outside of the box says the length of the toy is 5.5 inches. Eden lists the length as 5 inches, but more important then overall length is the vaginal depth. By my estimates, I would place it somewhere around 4.5-4.75 inches in depth.
What some people were commenting on as a weird looking shaft design actually provides a nice grip and adds some girth to the toy.
This masturbator has a hole in back of it. This design choice provides a couple of features: easier to clean, ability to over penetrate, and if you cover the hole you can get a suction like effect. Also, if toy use starts getting a little too noisy, you can cover the hole to help silence it. Other than that, it performs as a basic insertion toy.
This toy has some extra maintenance issues if you are a person that wants to keep the toy properly powdered at all times (this is not mandatory). The open ended design does make cleaning easier then a closed back masturbator, but the strange texture and tightness also makes it harder to clean as well. The standard wash and dry procedure applies after every use. If you use too much lube, which is not uncommon given how tight the toy is, it can spill out the back hole and coat the outside of the toy giving you more to clean up.
The pocket pussy comes in a reusable, non-discreet cardboard box. The toy is also in a sealed plastic bag, but it's a hard crinkly plastic and not particularly useful for re-use. The front of the packaging has a model who I can presume is referred to as "Megan". She is topless with perky breasts exposed and the looks of a generic blonde model. One feature of the packaging that might be of concern is some of the language on the box, like "Young Lover", "Fresh Innocence", and "Pop her young innocent cherry with your large manhood again and again..." You might want to keep this one stored away if you are afraid of someone getting the wrong impression of you.
This could either be a fluke of manufacture or actually intended, but if you look inside the opening of the vagina, there is a "hymen" that rips from excess material. Doesn't add anything to the toy but I thought it was worth mentioning considering the marketing of the pocket pussy.
Follow-up commentaryI've started to like it more1 month after original review
Although this toy hasn't become my go to masturbator, it still is useful in my collection. When you are in the mood for a nice and tight experience this product is a pleasure to use. But still, overall in terms of value and quality there are better deals to be had.
