So, once you get past the Sarlacc (see B8trDude's awesome review for more information) looking exterior, you really have a pretty basic masturbation sleeve. Now these are given different names, realistic vaginas, pocket pussies, masturbation sleeves, blowjob imitators, and the like. So where do you categorize the sarlacc, oops, I mean the R-20? Well, it certainly isn't a realistic vagina or a blowjob imitator. That leaves pocket pussies and masturbation sleeves. Since I've never seen a pussy that looked like the sarlacc (and I hope I never do) I would probably throw it into the general category of masturbation sleeves. Problem is, there is a lot of competition for devices of this type. Although it does not have a realistic appearing exterior (no lips, vagina, or ass, just the sarlacc) I don't think there much escaping what this thing is for, so it isn't like your going to hide it's use from some one. I mean if you are looking for a non-realistic looking sleeve, I think something like the Maven is going to please you better than the R-20. The Maven looks like something that came right out of Avatar, so you still get a movie correlation, right?

All joking aside, according to EdenFantasys website, the R-20 is made from TPE. I have to take their word for it since most of the writing on the box is in Japanese and the only thing that seems to reference the material in English is "Safe Skin". Maybe that means it feels skin-like (which it does) but is also safe. TPE isn't usually as skin-like as this, but it is safer than most skin-like materials which are usually very porous. The Super Skin that is used by Fleshlight is so porous that you can't even wash it with soap. TPE does not have that issue, so it is easier to care for by just washing with soap and hot water or your favorite toy cleaner. TPE is still porous and can't be sterilized, so no sharing, but what guy in his right mind wants to stick his dick in another man's sarlacc, right? It is easy to flip inside out for cleaning/drying as well which is the method I prefer since it is closed ended. Definitely let it dry completely before storage because I don't think any of us wants anything foreign growing inside our R-20. The TPE material means fun in wet environments is easier because water resistant silicone based lubes can be used along with the more common water based ones.

Maybe as a bonus you'll find Boba Fett in there. It does take 10,000 years to get digested by the Sarlacc you know. Maybe that's how long it takes to get off with the R-20 as well? That's really the place where the R-20 was less than satisfying for me. It is soft and feels nice and comfortable, it stretches well to accommodate a a variety of sized penises, but the interior texture left something to be desired for me. There just wasn't enough inside there to get me going easily. I was able to get off, mind you, but it's just easier to do when the sleeve helps out more than the R-20 did.

As you can tell, I'm just not that enthusiastic about the R-20. It's not that it's a bad sleeve, necessarily, but it's just that there is some stiff competition out there. The material is better than many, but if it doesn't really satisfy, the material safety does little for you. Just about every Fleshlight I have ever used has been more satisfying than this, but they do cost considerably more. I think even the Head Honcho is better than this though and it's material could be considered just about as safe (although silicone lube is a no go with the Head Honcho). This thing just did not turn me on the way other sleeves have. I don't think the exterior had anything to do with it either. It's all about how it feels inside, and the R-20 just didn't really do it for me.
