A pretty good tie-in with a great movie by Digital Playground. Riley's Pleasure Ring, though not in the movie, is a solid toy. The hook isn't hard (though you might be) and the skulls add a bit of flavor too. Even though it kinda feels like crab meat, it won't flounder on you.
Riley's Pleasure ring is designed for clitoral stimulation on a penis or a toy. If you use it while you and your partner are facing each other (cowgirl, missionary, etc), you'd wear the ring so the floppy hook or the numbs on the other side stimulate the clit. If you and your partner use the ring during positions like reverse cowgirl and doggie, you can spin the ring around to stimulate that way too.
One neat thing about the TPE that the ring is made from and the tie-in with Digital Playground's "Pirates II" is that the pleasure ring almost feels like it's made from crab or squid. It isn't slimy or anything, but it is very smooth, floppy, and white.
TPE is a very stretchy material with a decent level of safety.
The design of Riley's Pleasure Ring is your basic cock ring plus nubby smooth textures that vibrates. One thing I liked about the ring was that the pendant shaped vibrator was removable from the ring and could be inserted pretty easy with a little bit of lube (Maximus worked fine). The ring isn't adjustable at all and was a little tight on me. It wasn't too bad, but I wouldn't wear it for more than 20 minutes or so.
The single push button on the bottom has 5 speeds/settings:
1. low continuous
2. high continuous
3. slow pulse
4. fast pulse
5. slow-slow-fast pulse
The vibrations weren't over powering or barely there, I could feel them most of the time, even when when both of our bodies were right up against each other. I'm also pretty sensitive when it comes to my scrote and the contents; however, when i wore the bullet on the underside, it didn't over stimulate me or make me cringe.
The exceptionally soft and smooth TPE ring is a simple clean and dry job, antibiotic soap and warm water will do the job.
HOWEVER, the plastic vibrating pendant is only "splash proof". I have only a vague idea of what that means. It seems that you can get it fun-messy while using it; but, when you clean it, you should really only wipe it down and let it dry. The case is NOT water proof or resistant.
I'm currently storing it in my lockable storage case. The TPE seems that it'll attract whatever is floating in the air, just something to keep in mind.
I'm not usually one for packaging, but the interesting thing Digital Playground did with this one is make the entire case plastic. It almost resembles any other movie tie-in toy, and if it weren't for a busty Riley Steele on the package, you could almost pass it off as one too.
The plastic pendant bullet wasn't too great. It didn't really detract, but it wasn't a selling point either. While we were using the ring with the bullet, it would slide out or otherwise not be full on (contact wise). The ring was a pretty good fit, all in all.
What we ended up doing was using the bullet from this product in the ring. This is a better bullet and is easier to clean. You'd think that would be a knock down for this product, but it's actually a bonus for us. We've used other vibrating rings and weren't at all happy with them. They also have a single use vibrating unit that is static on the ring. If you can switch out the bullets on Riley's Pleasure ring, you've got a multi-use toy that works how you want it to.
