A Little Shake Won't Do Ya
Disappointing, very disappointing. This toy fell apart during its first use! It isn't discreet, smells like a brand new black PVC garbage can, and has the words, "Shaker's Simple Type Men's Hole" emblazoned on the toy itself. I give it one star because the materials are body friendly.

Pros
The materials are body friendly.
Cons
It fell apart under gentle use, is definitely NOT travel friendly or discreet.
It's small, looks discreet in the advertisement, and I thought it would be a great toy for Sigel to try out but it proved to be a disaster.
The Shaker's Vol.3 is a slightly smaller and definitely cheaper version of the Tenga one use variety cups. That's about where the comparison ends. The Shaker Vol.3 is a black plastic, telescoping tube that smells like a cheap garbage can. It is flexible rather than being firm and has a sponge over the opening that is cut into 4 wedges. The purpose of the sponge is debatable but the best we could come up with is it holds the insides, soaks up the excess lube and cushions your penis from the edges of the cup. It could have been meant to give an extra sensation to the stroking experience but it failed if that was its purpose. The toy is approximately 6" long and will fit up to a 1 3/4" penis girth. It has a total circumference of 7" and a depth of 5" (4 1/2" telescoped). It weighs in at about 4.8 oz. which is enough to know it's there but not enough to cause wrist strain.
On the inside of the toy are two sheets of TPE that are rectangular and have little soft studs on them for extra stimulation. They are Phthalates free, Hypo-allergenic, Food-grade material and Latex free which is pretty much the extent of the praises I can sing about this toy. I'm not sure if they are meant to be removable but they kinda fell out of the tube when the sponge covering the opening tore completely off. Between the two sheets was a ring of sponge that I assume was meant to be constricting and provide some sort of stimulation, again epic fail! The sheets were folded over on themselves when the toy arrived and caused Sigel some pain when he first tried to enter the toy. They were easy to reposition but I suggest that you explore your new Vol.3 with your fingers before getting down to business. The little spikes on the TPE sheets look as though they would be pleasurable but in reality they are barely felt and the sheets move freely so friction is non-existent.
The case telescopes slightly in the middle, presumably to provide some suction. It does provide a barely felt amount of suction and a bit of added stimulation but it wasn't terribly pleasurable. It could also be for holding the toy at the base of your penis and stroking just the top but that felt odd and slightly uncomfortable for Sigel. It made the positioning of the toy awkward.
The toy arrives in a clear plastic box with a pamphlet written in Japanese. There are some comical diagrams included but it was totally useless as we couldn't read it! It comes with a fairly large sample of lube called 'Toys Heart Lube' by 'Vanessa & Company'. I am assuming it's water based as it was sort of thin and watery but it had a silicone smell/taste so it could be silicone or even a mix of the two. The label is also written in Japanese.
This toy makes a stab at being discreet and then totally ruins the effort by having the word "SEX" emblazoned in the center of a spate of Japanese characters. At the base of the toy are the words "Shaker's Simple Type Men's Hole"! According to Sigel the 'simple type' part must refer to the user cause no one in their right mind would use it.
The TPE sheets could be useful as a hand-job extra and can be washed with warm water and soap.

Experience
This toy didn't last through 5 full strokes. The sponge tore completely away from the opening of the toy, which made the toy just a bit more comfortable. Unfortunately the insides of the toy fell out with the backstroke. This was, according to Sigel, the worst toy he has ever tried.
This is supposed to be a one use toy (again I'm assuming this) but it didn't even hold up under one use.

Follow-up commentary
2 months after original review
This toy has finally been tossed. We were using the outer plastic shell as a coin jar and it fell on the floor and shattered. So that ends the saga of a cheap imitation try at a Fleshlight. If you are in the market for a stroker then spend a bit more and go for quality, the Fleshlight is a much better product that both my guys love.
