Use

Ophoria's V-ring is designed to be worn at the base of the penis to help give a firmer erection and control ejaculation, while providing clitoral stimulation for the woman via the vibrating bullet. The gentle vibrations make it most suitable for women with sensitive clitorises, and the ring can be held in hand to use as a discreet foreplay teaser in other areas.

Material / Texture

Unlike most vibrating cock rings, the V-ring is made of a firm matte finished silicone that's odor-free and doesn't create a lot of drag against the skin. There is a cluster of four short nubs on one side of the clitoral stimulator which may or may not be felt during use, depending on how sensitive you are.

Shape / Design / Size / Fit

Though the silicone is flexible to an extent, this is not a "one size fits all" cock ring. The opening is 1-1/4" wide and stretches only to a maximum width of about 2", at which point it's very tight. The band is thin enough to be barely noticeable, and the inside is lined with thin arcs of silicone that keep the ring from shifting during use. There is also a pull tab at the bottom of the ring that makes it easier to get it on.

The miniature vibrating unit, which is a little over 1" long, fits firmly in the casing at the top of the ring and can be removed for cleaning. It's *not* moisture resistant though, so we wouldn't suggest using it alone outside of the ring, particularly if you're playing with lube.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The V-ring takes two mini button cell batteries, which are easy to replace by simply removing the vibrating unit and unscrewing one end. Ophoria generously includes 3 sets of batteries with the ring, each of which lasts around 45 minutes, so you'll get plenty of use out of it before you run out.

A wide push button on one end of the vibrator turns the toy on and off, and the single speed of vibration has a gentle massage-like quality to it that can be felt over every part of the toy. This is without a doubt one of the quietest vibrating cock rings on the market... so quiet that you could use it as a handheld stimulator in a theater, and the people sitting next to you wouldn't hear it.

Because the vibrator fits so snugly in its casing, the V-ring is considered "splash proof" and can be used in the shower. However, it is not meant to be submerged in standing water.

Care and Maintenance

To clean this toy, remove the vibrating bullet and wipe it down with a damp soapy cloth, or a little rubbing alcohol if need be. The silicone ring can be washed with soap and water, a toy cleaner, or a bleach wipe for serious sanitizing. You can even put the ring in a pan of boiling water for up to 3 minutes if need be. The only thing you really *can't* do with the ring is use a silicone-based lube on it, because that could damage the surface of the toy.

Packaging

The V-ring comes packaged in a hard clear plastic casing that requires scissors to open. The casing isn't suitable for storage afterward, so the ring will have to be kept elsewhere. Any cool dry place where it won't come in contact with other sex toys will do, and a sandwich bag can protect it further. Inside the packaging is a small paper booklet with care & use instructions written in English.

Experience

Alan says:
I don’t know if it’s because of the firmness of the silicone or the fact that it doesn’t stretch very easily, but I found this ring difficult to put on if I was already erect. No matter though, because even if you start out soft it does a good job at helping to squeeze a fast erection out of a man. If you aren’t using any other methods to delay ejaculation I believe that this ring would help with that too, because I found it a bit difficult to cum with it on. Not impossible, just difficult, even though the ring is comfortable overall. That said, do keep an eye on your prick when you're wearing it; If things start looking purple, it's time for a break.

Michele says:
I like how rock-hard the ring makes Alan, but the vibrations only added a little extra pleasure for me. They aren't nearly strong enough to get me off, and they spread out across the clit *area* rather than hitting directly on it. Still, there's nothing wrong with the toy itself, and for someone who doesn't like strong vibes directly on the clit the way I do, this ring would be perfect.
