3 Ring Set - Like a 3 Ring Circus
If you're looking for an affordable set that gives you a variety of options before spending the big bucks on something far better quality, the 3 ring set is definitely a decent option.
Published:
Pros
easy to use, affordable, durable
Cons
porous, rubber material, causes slight drag on skin
The 3 piece set is probably one of the most basic you'll find. While each of the rings are the same in regard to thickness, they are all different sizes (2 1/2" / 2" / 3" ) and allow the user to try various options until they find one that works for them. In my opinion sets like this are great for those that aren't very experienced with cock rings and don't know which size suits their needs.
Out of the package the rings start out rather firm with a bit of stretch and become more flexible with time and use. My personal suggestion is to take some time before applying to stretch them out by hand, that way they'll have a little more give during the application and possibly make the experience more comfortable. On that note, I'd also highly suggest the use of a good water based lube with these rings as they do create a bit of drag on the skin which will definitely get caught in pubic hair - trust me!!
As for drawbacks, because they're made out of rubber they tend to be porous and will absorb bodily fluids, lube and bacteria rather easily. Cleaning them with an anti bacterial soap and using water based lubricants are highly recommended. Aside from that, because they are rubber they may rub on the base of a condom and cause it to thin out and possibly break (speaking from experience) - again the use of good lube will help minimize the chances of this happening. Finally, although I did a search on the materials I can't verify if they are latex or phthalate free, as such I suggest you treat them like a jelly-rubber product and upgrade to a silicone cock ring once you've found the size that works for you.
*For those of you that may question this inclusion - being that it's not made of a 'body safe' material - when it comes to the comings and goings (pun intended) of intimate accessory purchases I know many people will opt for the cheaper, usually also *cheap* in general, option. As such, I'd rather offer the best of the worst and hope that it leads to consumers being well aware of what they're buying, using it only for exploration purposes, and upgrading asap. By no means am I endorsing the use of said products, but I do know how people work and need to take that into consideration.
Although they're not the best rings on the market they're good for what they are: a basic cock ring that's designed to lock of the flow of blood from the penis. Nothing more, nothing less.
When I asked my partner what he thought this was what he had to say:
"They're comfortable and don't really pull on the skin very much. My hard on seemed a bit firmer and they did a good job of helping me to maintain it. I was only able to use the small one on my shaft because trying to get it around all my junk was just too uncomfortable. The big one was far better suited for this. I think if I had to rate them I'd give them a 4 out of 5 stars, but I do know there's much better quality out there. I just think for a cheap as they are price wise they're worth it."

Not quite sure how we managed it but one of them broke, which made me a little less impressed. They also don't do so well with condoms unless there's lots of lube involved.
