When I do a review and I don't like a toy, I try really hard not to hate to badly on the toy... thinking that maybe somebody out there in Eden Fantasy Land will like it. The Love Candy by Kendra is just one of those toys that I can't for the life of me figure out what the hell Evolved was thinking when they made this toy. It's shape and design are lovely. It fits so nicely in your hands and you think to yourself "Oh, this is nice, I'm gonna love this" then you turn it on and that all goes out the window.

The vibrations on this toy are so buzzy and high pitched that it makes my fingers and palms numb after just a minute or two. It's that feeling you get when holding an electric sander for too long. Not only are the vibrations awful, but the power is just not there. It's so, so weak. Granted, I need a stronger toy for clitoral stimulation, but this is just pathetic. I have used must smaller, cheaper toys that have more power. The only person that will truly enjoy this toy is someone who doesn't need very strong vibrations and likes buzzy type vibration. Although, It is waterproof... so it does that that going for it.

The Love Candy is made of a firmer silicone on a majority of the toy, with a hard plastic area where the buttons are located. The silicone feels nice and silky in my hands but the plastic end does feel a little cheap. It's a little rough around the edges and just doesn't look as well thought out at the rest of the toy.

Under the silicone there is a hard shell that houses the batteries. There is no give at all to this toy, even in the pointed tip, so I suspect it's made entirely out of plastic with a silicone sleeve slipped over the body of the toy.

The silicone actually has a slight gasoline smell to it. It went away after a couple of washes, but it was still an odd chemical smell that I have never had on any other silicone toy.

The best thing about this toy is it's shape. The top of the toy has three little ridges that are actually quite nice. Your middle and index fingers just sort of fit right into the ridges and the curve of the toy makes it fit perfectly in your hand. Not only does it fit perfectly in your hands, but it fits nicely against the body as well. *IF* this toy gave the type of power I was hoping for, it would be easy to get pin point stimulation from the tip and broad stimulation by flipping the toy over and using the top half just over the tip. But I really couldn't get enough power to enjoy either of these two methods.








On the underside of the curve, near the pointed tip, are three ripples for added texture. As I mentioned before the entire toy is firm, and has no give to it, so if you need to apply any pressure, the toy will hold it's shape nicely.

The love candy is 4.25 inches long with a circumference of about 5 inches at it's widest point. It's a nice size, and is certainly travel friendly.

Ok, I had the hardest time getting the batteries in this toy. On the underside of the toy there are two triangles pointing down toward the cap/buttons and one triangle on the cap pointing up toward the tip on the toy. The single triangle on the cap lines up with the right triangle on the toy. You turn the cap to the left and the triangle moves over and lines up with the left triangle on the toy. Once it's lined up with the left triangle it will loosen up and you can pull the cap off to put 2 AAA batteries in the compartment. Getting the cap back on is like trying to put a square peg in a round hole. Every single time I try to get this cap back on it takes me at least 30 seconds of moving the cap around and trying to shove it into place so I can turn it back and lock it into place.





The controls are fairly basic and simple. If you are holding the toy in your hand with the buttons closest to you, the power is on the right, the cycle button is on the left. Because you turn the toy on and off with one button, you can simply press the power to shut the toy off quickly, without having to cycle through.

The vibrations on this toy are so high and buzzy that it's difficult for me to even hold it in my hands for long, let along hold it against my junk. I prefer a much deeper more rumbly vibration, and I certainly need more power. I think this is one of THE weakest clitoral toys I have ever tried. I mean quite literally that I have had cheap bullets get me off much faster, and with less drama than this toy. I hate that the vibrations suck because the shape is lovely.

Every time I turn this toy on I get different sounds from it. When I first put the batteries in it, it was really very quiet. Then I turned it on again and every time I would move the toy, or turn it, it would make a louder buzzing sounds. Like the motor was banging around inside the plastic shell. Then I went to film my video review and I had the same trouble. I filmed it once and It was all weird and buzzy, but I had to re-do my video and the second time it was quiet again. Maybe this is just a quality control issue... I'm not really sure.

The Love Candy is easy to care for. Simply wash it with anti-bacterial soap and warm water and you are all set. If you need to, you could wipe it down with a 10% bleach solution, but really soap and water are best for normal cleaning. Being that this toy is waterproof, cleanup is really very easy.

The Love Candy is compatible with water based lubes only.

The Love Candy comes in lovely packaging. The toy comes inside a little faux leather box with a lid that snaps shut. Over the box was a little cardboard sleeve that had the product information. Inside the toy sits inside a fuzzy plastic piece that keeps the toy in place. This plastic is removable and you are left with the little box that is perfect for storage. In fact, I have already re-purposed the packaging as a condom case. I have two stacks of 8 Durex condoms in this little box and I could easily fit a few more. It's a tight fit to get two stacks, but if you take a minute to put them in nicely, it's a nice discreet storage option.

This packaging is perfect for gift giving, but I wouldn't want to give this thing as a gift, so the point is moot.
