The Secret Garden Panty is an adjustable hidden vibrator toy. The box indicates that I can be worn out under clothing, but I am not sure about that. I think it would have to be worn under a very loose dress or skirt for it to be discreet as the side ties would create bulk under pants or something form fitting. Since it does not have a remote control, I don't feel it would make much sense to wear in public anyway. I think it is better suited to the bedroom and could be fun when incorporated into role play or BSDM fun. The packaging and other toys in the Black Rose Collection also lend themselves to a BSDM feel.

The pocket for the bullet places it in direct contact with the clitoris, the area meant to be stimulated. Because the panties are somewhat adjustable, you can position the little pocket to fit your own anatomy. This variety makes them suitable for a wide range of users.

The panties are silky and soft to the touch. They have quite a bit of stretch and give, so they could potentially work for a wide range of body types. The rose bud detail on the right side of the panty is a faux leather material. The side ties are silky and smooth but do not have much stretch. There is no tag or label inside the panties which tells what material they are made from and the box only indicates the side ties are silk. The panties feel like they have spandex and possibly nylon or polyester. The material is thin, which makes feeling the vibrations from the bullet easier and the satin texture feels good rubbing against bare skin. If you have allergies to a particular fiber or material, you may want to pass on these, as that information is not listed. I checked the Doc Johnson website and the material is listed as "silky fabric."

The included bullet is ABS plastic. Eden rates ABS an 8 out of 10 on the safety scale. There is a rubber ring around the battery compartment, which should be left in place to keep the bullet waterproof. The push button is also rubber. The bullet feels smooth, velvety and firm. The only texture is the rubber ring around the battery compartment. The ABS has very little drag when in direct contact with the skin. There is no unpleasant odor or taste to the bullet. It is suitable for any user, beginner to advanced.

I was not expecting these to be a thong style panty, but even still they were quite comfortable. The thong back is is 1.5 inches at the narrowest point and widens out more than typical thongs, making them more cozy to wear. I wear a size 8 pant and have a 30 inch waist and they fit me very well. I was able to tie the sides very snugly at my hips. If you have very narrow hips or a tiny waist, they might fit a bit baggy as they are 12 inches in width, minus the ties. They would sit very low if the wearer has a well endowed bum.

The panties can be folded up for travel and the bullet is compact, so traveling with them would be very easy. Storage is also simple...pop them in a drawer or even keep them in the box. Since it is not super easy to operate the bullet while wearing them, I would not consider these easy to conceal while in use.

The bullet, which is 2 inches in length, fits into a small pocket at the front of the panty. This pocket can also hold another bullet of your choice if the one included isn't to your liking. It holds the bullet in place well and does not add much bulk to interfere with the vibrations.

The bullet included is a push button model, operated by 3 watch batteries, which are included. Simply remove the thin plastic piece to allow the batteries to make contact with the operating mechanism and you are ready to play. There are three steady speeds of vibration, which are buzzy and can be felt throughout the bullet. Push the button to move through the three functions and to turn it off. Keep in mind, it is not easy to change the intensity of the vibrations once the panties are on, so I suggest turning it on to the setting you prefer before tying them on. These panties would be a dream come true if they came with a wireless remote bullet, but since the bullet can be changed out, it is possible that they could be used with one. The noise the bullet produces can be heard through the panties and could probably be heard if worn out in public, unless they were used in an noisy environment, like a dance club. It is not loud enough to be heard through closed doors. As long as the rubber seal ring is left in place, the bullet is waterproof. I would personally not use this feature while wearing the bullet in the panties, but I would with the bullet on it's own. It functions the same in and out of water.

The packaging indicates that the panties should be hand washed. I would recommend using Woolite or a lingerie wash for care. Lay them out flat on a towel or hang them to dry. They would not hold up being put through the washer or dryer. Once clean, they can be stored in a drawer or kept in the original box, with or without the bullet in place.

Wash the bullet with soap and water, toy cleaner or wipes prior to and after each use. It cannot be boiled for sterilization, so if you intend to share the bullet with others, use 99% alcohol or 10% bleach solution to sanitize it.

As far as lubes go, one shouldn't be needed when using the bullet with the panties. If you choose to use the bullet on it's own, feel free to use a lube of your choice, as ABS plastic is compatible with any form.

My panties arrived in a nice plain box as all my Eden items have. The packaging is a little different story. Open the outer packaging behind closed doors if privacy is a concern for you, as the box containing the panties clearly lets anyone know what is inside. It features a mostly naked woman with a super sexy body. The model's nipples are covered with what looks like black tape and she is sporting the vibrating panties. The back of the box features a short description of the panties, suggested uses and how to care for the product. At the moment, I have both the panties and bullet stored inside the box, but is rather large, so the panties may make their way to a drawer and the bullet to a home with my other toys. Since the package is so overtly sexy, I think it would make a great gift for a bachelorette party.

These panties are very flattering on me and I am interested in experimenting with other selections of bullet vibes to tuck into the pocket. I am sure that I will also add more items from the Black Rose Collection to my toy chest, as I was quite happy with these panties.

My boyfriend loved the way these panties looked on me. The drawback for him was not being able to control the vibrations while I was wearing them. I will be investigating wireless bullets that I could use with the panties so we have more options for play time.
