There are 3 different uses for the small 40g ball and large 30g ball. They are made of soft elastomer so they are semi-pourous which may be a setback for some. This product was perfect for my Kegel muscle toning adventure. They are a good size and easily insertible. I would recommend them to anyone looking to tone their pelvic floor muscles. They are definitely a well-made product that will last a long time with the proper care and maintenance.
The Marc Dorcel Twinny Balls are geisha balls (vaginal balls) that allow you to combine 2 sizes and 2 weights to stimulate your sensations and strengthen your perineum. To use, simply select whether you will use 1 or both balls, lubricate them with water-based lubricant, and fully insert into the vagina. Then you simply use your pelvic floor muscles to keep the ball or balls in place. This product is meant for female vaginal use only. They can be used for any occasion/situation where you want to tone up pelvic floor muscles (Kegel exercises) or accentuate stimulation through movement. It is recommended to wear them regularly and to hold them in by contracting the pelvic floor muscles. They are not seen or heard when worn properly inside the vagina. They recommend you to use a water-based lubricant to make the use of this product easier. There are 2 balls, 2 sizes, and 2 weights. A number of possible combinations for use: single small 40g ball, single large 30g ball, or combined 70g balls. Safety precautions include not using your Twinny Balls on swollen areas or if you have small cuts. Stop using if you feel pain or discomfort.
The Marc Dorcel Twinny Balls are 100% thermal plastic elastomer with the exception of the weights inside that are not able to be contacted directly. Elastomer is less porous than cyberskin but more porous than silicone so we recommend using condoms when sharing. Elastomer toys cannot be disinfected with boiling water. You can wash them with warm water and toy cleaner or mild soap. This product has no smell or taste and feels extremely soft and almost velvety. This is not a realistic toy and does not feel realistic. The material is firm and I would say the texture would be great for beginners or more advanced users because it isn't too hard or too soft. Upon further inspection of the balls, I noticed there were small seams that ran up one side and down the other of the balls. I didn't notice it upon use nor did I have any discomfort from use but someone that is extremely sensitive to seams will take note.
The design of the Marc Dorcel Twinny Balls is sort of an egg shape with a tail. The end of the tail has a small roundedness to it so while removing the ball(s) from your vagina, your fingers will not slip off as easily due to any moisture. The balls themselves have a wavy line of height difference that goes all around the ball a third of the way down and almost gives it a cracked egg appearance. This shape made it easier for insertion because the insertion tip was a little smaller than the rest of the ball. These balls are rather large, which may not be something a beginner is looking for but they fit comfortably. I would recommend them to average users or more advanced users only because of their size. A beginner might want to begin with something a bit smaller and work their way up. This toy is fairly discreet and I would say it's very travel friendly.

The thing I like best about these is that there are 2 different balls, 2 different sizes, and 2 different weights but there are 3 different ways to use them. There are 3 possible combinations for use: single small 40g ball, single large 30g ball, or combined 70g balls. I can't say I have any complaints about their performance.
Care and maintenance of the Marc Dorcel Twinny Balls is fairly simple because they are easy to clean. According to the instructions included you should, "Clean them after each use with anti-bacterial soap. Do not use an alcohol-based, acetone-based, or petrol-based cleaning product." Remember, since the product is made of 100% elastomer it is less porous than cyberskin but more porous than silicone so we recommend using condoms when sharing. Elastomer toys cannot be disinfected with boiling water. You can wash them with warm water and toy cleaner or mild soap. These can be stored in about any dry area but you might want to keep them away from your other toys since they are somewhat porous. The box they come in has a plastic tray they sit snuggly in. I recommend keeping them in the original plastic tray or a velvet pouch of some sort. Again, because these are an elastomer product they recommend you to use a water-based lubricant to make use of the product easier.
This toy is packaged in a box that you can see through the front of. The balls themselves sit in a flexible plastic tray that is molded for each ball to sit in securely. There is a set of user's instructions included that have the instructions written in many different languages. The instruction manual contains: product characteristics, use, recommendations, cleaning and care, warnings, advice of non-liability, and warranty. The package would probably not be best suited for a gift but as I have stated previously, the flexible plastic tray that is molded for each ball to sit securely in could be used as means of storage for the balls.
I personally didn't feel any increase in sensation while wearing these other than having a "full" feeling which may appeal more to others.
Follow-up commentaryI still like it2 months after original review
I still really like the Twinny Balls. I do find that I tend to use the lighter ball more, maybe because I haven't built up my muscles enough. I still highly recommend this product to anyone wanting to increase the strength of their pelvic floor muscles. I have suggested the use of these particular vaginal exercise balls to several pregnant friends of mine for aid in urine control during pregnancy and they have really benefited from use.
