I lusted over Ina since the first time I saw her, but when she arrived it was hardly love at first site. After many attempts at making our relationship work, we finally succeeded and the result has been beautiful. Ina may not be for everyone, but if she fits your body then your love will be here to stay.

Ina is a luxury dual-action vibrator with a whole lotta love to give. Her dual motors please clit and g-spot simultaneously, and her repertoire of speeds and patterns are sure to hit the spot perfectly. While Ina is not the best option for a thrusting vibrator, she can stay nestled in one place and do her job just fine.
Ina can be used for solo play or with a partner. Ina is most at home when used vaginally, but she can also be used strictly externally on clit or nipples or perhaps anally as well. If used anally, she should be thoroughly cleaned before vaginal use.
Ina is made of hard, smooth plastic and soft, velvety silicone. The silicone has no odor or taste but does attract some lint/hair. The silicone does have a slight visible seam but this cannot be felt when she's inserted. There's also a seam where the silicone connects to the plastic, creating an area that should be of attention during cleaning. The buttons located in the plastic handle have the same feel as a soft silicone and have raised characters for easy controlling.
Both shaft and clitoral stimulator are very hard and do not have any give at all. The only flexible part on the vibrator is about a third of the way up the clitoral stimulator where it starts to curve. This general inflexibility of the toy may lead to some frustration, but I've grown to appreciate it.
Ina has a very unique design for a "rabbit style" vibe. I have some friends who call her the Enterprise, after the Star Trek ship (I can almost see the resemblance). Her shaft forms an elongated bulb that tapers to a blunt point and curves upward at a smooth angle. The clitoral stimulator is like a tear drop that curves in towards the shaft.
Ina is 7.5" long in a straight line, but about 8.5" if you include her curves. Her insertable length is about 3.5". The circumference at her widest point is about 4.5" and diameter is about 1.4". Her weight feels sturdy without being heavy. While she's not a small toy, Ina is pretty discreet in that she doesn't scream "I'm a sex toy". If seen out on a table by someone, they might ask what the heck it is before assuming it's a sex toy.
Ina has two motors, one in the shaft and one in the clitoral stimulator. They are controlled by four buttons in the handle. The top and bottom buttons are up and down arrows, and the side buttons are "+" and "-". Pressing "+" turns Ina on. From there the "+" and "-" control the speed of the vibrations. Holding "-" down for a second will turn her off at any point. Holding "+" and "-" simultaneously for five seconds will lock or unlock the controls for travel or storage. The arrows scroll through the eight vibration patterns, which I'll do my best to describe.
1. Shaft and clit vibrate steadily simultaneously
2. Shaft vibrates alone
3. Clit vibrates alone
4. Shaft and clit alternate
5. Both pulse together
6. Shaft vibrates steadily while clit pulses
7. Shaft pulses while clit vibrates steadily
8. Random pulses in both
Unfortunately once you get to 8, to get back to 1 required scrolling all the way back down. Continuous scrolling would have been a nice feature.
Ina is very quiet. On her lower settings, I can't even hear her through the covers. On higher settings, I can hear her through the covers but someone outside the room would not be able to.
Ina is rechargeable; the charger port is located at the end of the handle and is covered by a small silicone-like flap. Ina comes with some charge already. A full charge is accomplished with about 2 hours of charging and will yield about 4 hours of play time. The buttons will glow red when the charge is starting to run low, so you get quite a bit of warning before she dies completely.
Ina's "business end" is pure silicone and can be completely sterilized with a 10% bleach solution. Due to being a powered toy, she cannot be boiled or washed in the dishwasher. Routine before- and after-use cleanings can be done with hot water and soap (be VERY careful not to get the controls or charge port wet) or toy cleaner.
Because Ina is made of silicone, she should be used with water-based lubes ONLY and should not be in contact with other silicone toys during storage.
Ina comes in Lelo's award-winning packaging. The outer box is thin paper board and features Ina on the back and several lines of information on the sides. Inside is the inner storage box made of a harder, sturdy black card board. It's a great material, but not as sturdy as some older Lelo boxes (for example, Ella's box). The black box opens like a shoe box and inside rests Ina. When I first got her, she was enclosed in a thin plastic mold held together by a black paper board card. This part of the packaging seemed wasteful to me, but could be used for display in a brick and mortar sex shop. Under the toy display, the box was separated into two compartments; the separator had a dip in the middle to accommodate for Ina sitting atop it. One compartment held the charger and a gorgeous two-layer black satin storage bag, and the other a very thorough owner's manual in six languages, a one-year warranty, and a ten-year quality guarantee. The warranty covers any defect in the toy for up to one year, and Lelo will replace the toy for free if there are any. The quality guarantee covers defects for up to ten years, and Lelo will give you 50% off your next Lelo purchase if there are any defects. To take advantage of these incredible warranties, you must register your toy at Lelo's website.
The box is a wonderful storage option as it's sturdy and discreet. I removed the separator from the inside for more versatility. The satin bag is usually my go-to option for storing Ina and is big enough hold both her and the charger, making it a great option for travel.
The packaging makes for a wonderful presentation and it great for gift-giving.
I'm border-line monogamous with this toy. She is hands-down my go-to vibrator, unless I'm looking for just a quickie with a bullet. This wasn't always the case though. When I first got her, I found her stiffness very difficult to deal with. It almost hurt for me to use her and I couldn't get anything in the right position. I was at just about the last straw when everything fell into just the right position, and now I'm smitten. I honestly wish I had a cross-section picture of what Ina looked like inside me so I could tell you what I was all of a sudden doing right, but it's hard to say. I definitely learned that the clit stimulator works better for me when it's not directly on my clit. I also learned that holding the handle up a bit at an angle gives me a more comfortable experience.
Ina is a very body-specific toy, so she may not be for everyone. Unfortunately, with such a high price tag, some may be reluctant to take the leap and try her out. For me, Ina was a very worthwhile investment.
Follow-up commentaryI still like it27 months after original review
Ina hasn't gotten much use lately, since I've gotten the Soraya, but she's still a solid toy. She definitely got some upgrades with the Ina 2 by going waterproof and getting %100 stronger. I definitely recommend grabbing the Ina 2.
