The Extase Zenith is a first for me. For all my love of things that go buzz against my girl parts, I'd never actually tried a G-spot vibrator before. I've been celibate for the past few years, and even when I wasn't, I just generally accepted that I respond better to clitoral stimulation than vaginal.

Well, I'll admit it: this did nothing to combat that preconception. I didn't feel the slightest tingle from anything going on at the G-spot angle. But this isn't a one-trick pony. I think it works perfectly—I'd even go so far as exceedingly—well as a clitoral vibe. I gave each setting a—ahem—thorough testing, and the last three definitely rock my boat. I like the uneven pattern the pulses come in, and it really makes for an interesting experience. As far as strength, it's a tad bit less than what I normally like, but what I normally like is probably the vibrator equivalent of extra strength, and this does meet my requirements.

This is made out of PU-coated plastic, which I really enjoy. It's the first toy of this kind I've gotten (my others being just regular plastic), and it feels great to the touch and is still easy to clean.

This is sleek and visually appealing, which I'm totally shallow enough to buy based upon, but it isn't all looks and no follow-through. My favorite bit is the light on the end and the press button to rotate through modes. I just think that's a very ingenious way to keep it streamlined while still offering lots of variety in operation.

I did require lots of lube for the egg-shaped vibration portion when I used it internally, but there's nothing over the top about it. It took some adjustment for me, but that's less of a size critique and more of a side effect from rarely using internal vibes.

The functionality is great as I've said once already: it is easy to use, and you don't have to fumble around and dig out the manual in the middle of your fun just to figure out how to switch it. After a few minutes, I knew exactly how many clicks to get the setting I wanted—no problems. I haven't tested it out in a shower situation and most likely won't since I think I read that it is more 'splashproof' than 'waterproof.'

Another thing I'm pleased to note is the volume: this pretty little thing has great bang for the buck and won't alert everyone in the apartment complex to impending happy pants(less) time. It doesn't roar, it purrs.

It is easy to clean and comes with a really attractive bag for storage, though I find the box just as nice! Everything about it speaks to quality and care in the design.

I was so impressed by the packaging! It comes with a suede bag that is just gorgeous to keep it in, but I found the box just as nice, so I'm probably going to repurpose the bag to hold a different toy. Kudos to all-around quality with the Extase Zenith!
