Waving the Red Flag
Good pair of nipple clamps if you are looking to bring a little more spank and a little less tickle into your play. Even good for those more experienced in BDSM.

Chain to short
These clamps where not the first that I have ever owned, I actually had a pair of clover clamps that I lost in a move before this. So I thought that these would be a suitable replacement. I was very very wrong.
The Bull nose nipple jewelry clamps are made of metal, though the of the clamp and the end of the handle are latex dipped. It has a very smooth finish to it, they can be removed but I would not suggest it as the teeth are rather sharp without them. I couldn't detect a smell on mine, but latex can sometimes have a slight rubbery smell to it. I also found that the latex seemed to stick just slightly when it was left in warmer places. The two clamps are connected in the middle by a simple thin 8" chain. Which perhaps for some is enough to reach and hang just right from both nipples. The clamps do adjust via a small screw that you can tighten or loosen to adjust the sensation.
The clamps fit nicely when I put them on either nipple separately, but for me the chain was far too small so not only did it pinch but it tugged which while I do enjoy a little tugging during play. The constant pull on my nipples was enough for me to have to take them off out of sheer tears welling up in my eyes and not for a good reason pain. This was in part due to the size of my breasts (46 DDD) and how they fall on my chest when my bra is off. However I found that the clamps could be easily removed from the chain, as they are only attached to it via a simply key ring like attachment. So I could either find a longer chain to attach them too or use them separately. But while that is an upside its a little annoying to go out of my way to fix up a product I would rather use out of the box.
Speaking of the box, it came in a very simple hard plastic casing that opened like a clam shell. Inside they where in a plastic bag which kept them from rattling around. I ditched the less than discreet packaging, but kept the little plastic bag to store them in.
They are very easy to care for, I would remove the latex bits before cleaning the metal by boiling or bleaching it in a 10% solution. They are dishwasher safe in thought because they are metal but because they are small I would pass on that because of size, this would certainly not stay on the top shelf. For the latex use simple soap and water, but be careful with it as it is very porous.

Follow-up commentary
2 months after original review
Sad to say these have stayed in the bottom of my toy box and I have not been able to bring myself to try them again. So, in order to do this follow-up review, I dug them out to give them one more try.
In losing a bit of weight, things have fluxed just a bit with my body. The chain has a little more slack, so they are somewhat more comfortably painful (if that makes sense) rather than an "OMG NO" painful. I am hoping that it continues and I can get more use out of these down the line.
