Waterproof pixies pinpoint sex toy review
Other than the waterproofing issue, the Pinpoint is a nice little vibe, especially for its price. The clitoral performance is lovely, it’s quiet enough that someone in the next room won’t hear the buzz, it’s small enough to toss in a purse, and it's unobtrusive and non-threatening enough that it would make a great first vibrator.

Pros
Strong but quiet; nice size
Cons
Breaks fairly quickly
My first reaction when I opened the package was that the Waterproof Pixies Pinpoint|Traditional vibrators: Waterproof pixies pinpoint was a pretty little vibe. The hard plastic is nice and smooth, without any of the rough seams you sometimes find on plastic toys, and the sparkly finish was a cute touch. The easy to open packaging meant that I didn’t have to spend ten minutes attacking it with scissors, hoping not to damage the contents, which is always nice.
When I first turned my Pinpoint on, I was surprised at how strong the vibrations were; for around $10, I was expecting a lot less. The entire shaft vibrates, but the vibrations were most intense in the head, right where they were supposed to be.
The vibrations were strong enough to feel good all over, but not enough to be numbing or painful. The most intense vibrations were not focused on the very point, but around half an inch back, where the tip swells. While this was not what I expected from a vibe called the “Pinpoint,” it was by no means a bad thing. I found that, when all lubed up, it was easier to keep the swell where you wanted it than the tip anyway. The tip was great for teasing, though. Once I got down to business, I hit my first of many climaxes in minutes. It had passed the clitoral test with flying colors.
I was rather skeptical that it would be much good for penetration, given its size, but I was game. While it was fun for probing my G-spot, the angle was awkward, and otherwise its internal performance wasn't great. It felt good, but it wasn't going to get an orgasm going. A quick word of warning: it may look like it’s a great size and shape for starting anal exploration, but there’s no flanged base, so that’s a no-go.
The one big disappointment with this toy was the reminder that, for all its power, the Pinpoint is still an inexpensive vibrator. Though it is advertised as waterproof, I had to screw the battery cap down so tightly to keep water out that within 4 uses the plastic started to crack. It’s still works fine out of the shower, but the cap will probably be the first part to break.
The plastic body of the toy meant cleanup was a snap. Soap and water works great, or if you’re in a rush you can just wipe it down with rubbing alcohol or your favorite toy cleaner|Anti bacterial toy cleaner - Sex Toy Cleaners.

Follow-up commentary
15 months after original review
After about two months of use, the cap broke into three pieces. With a little duct tape and ingenuity, I was able to put it back together and get it working again. Unfortunately, it was no longer in any way waterproof. It was still strong for such a small, inexpensive toy, but the noise level went even higher to almost as loud as my Ideal massager. I nursed it along for a while, because no bullet I found was as strong, but as better toys found their way into my life the Pixies Pinpoint was relegated to the back of the toy drawer. It still worked, but I had no reason to reach for it.
A few days ago, I pulled it out on a whim and put in some batteries. It didn't even turn on. After months of sitting in the back of my toy drawer, I'm not surprised. It does show that you get what you pay for. This is still a good beginner vibrator, and I recommend it to my friends as their first, but I always tell them to be ready to graduate to something else when it dies.

This toy seems good at it's job, but i hate it when something dies that quickly. Of course that's to be expected with the cheap price. I think this one would make a good temporary replacement until you can afford a new one. Just my opinion though.
