was I supposed to feel something?
It really does nothing for me. It's nice enough. It's sort of pretty. I've got nothing against it. I'd use it if all of my other toys were lost in a house fire and I developed carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands. Otherwise... the #14 is about as bland a vibrator you can get and still be talking about objects that are designed specifically for sexual gratification.

Pros
waterproof, pretty color, uses AA batteries
Cons
completely ineffective design
The Lucid Dreams #14’s design is clearly aimed at g-spot stimulation, yet that’s more of an aspiration than a functional reality. Insertion is reasonably comfortable - the head is not so big that it makes penetration uncomfortable, but the angle does make for a few awkward moments. Once in, however, it just kind of sits there.
Because the stem of the vibrator is so straight and the head at such a strange angle, you have to work and contort your body to move it up against your g-spot. The head doesn’t naturally gravitate there. If you have unnaturally long arms (I’m talking monkey long) or a partner willing to do the work for you, lie back and enjoy. Otherwise, any pleasure that you receive from the #14 is either completely accidental or achieved with blood, sweat, and tears.
Other g-spot vibrators that I’ve tried have a more pronounced angle, requiring less contortion on your part to get the g-spot pressure. There are also other vibrators out there with better designed heads - broader and flatter - to maximize g-spot coverage. The Lucid Dreams #14 isn’t the worst g-spot vibrator on the market, but there are many more effective ones out there that can provide much more satisfaction in the same price range.
Lest you believe I think the #14 is completely worthless... I like the color (mine’s purple). The fact that it takes two AA batteries is convenient. The dial to adjust the vibrations is ridged, making it easy to adjust. It’s waterproof and clean-up is quick and easy. It’s made of jelly, so it’s recommended that you use condoms if you’d like to share the toy. Luckily, there’s no one in the world I hate enough to try and share the #14 with, so my condom supply is safe.
The vibrations themselves are underwhelming. They’re there. In terms of clitoral stimulation, they provide a nice little tickle. In terms of g-spot stimulation, it’s fine. My reservations about the toy lie in its design. The strength of the vibrations aren’t going to save the toy’s quality, but neither are they a factor in my disliking the #14.
It also holds up well after years and years of use. I say this because, for a time, the #14 was the dysfunctional relationship of my toy collection. I’d go back to it time and time again, hoping that it would be different - maybe I had changed, maybe the #14 had changed.
Nope. The Lucid Dreams #14 is not for me.
