Mimi has become my favorite vibrator because I am such a fan of clitoral stimulation. The vibration shape is not meant to be inserted but works great for massaging sore muscles or for nipple play. When first using Mimi, it will take a while to figure out how to position it especially for those who enjoy pinpoint stimulation or lots of pressure. Mimi's shape makes her great for use with your partner and because she in no way resembles male genitalia. It is a great introductory toy if your man feels threatened by sex toys.

Mimi is covered in 100% silicone which is body safe and non-porous. The silicone is silky and provides just the right amount of drag. The color is a little more dull then I would have liked but purple is purple. The functions make up for that. I bought the second generation Mimi and so far I have not noticed any bubbling of the silicone however some are still reporting it, so I will keep an eye out and suggest anyone buying it in the future do the same.

The best way I can describe Mimi's size is to say that it is just under the size of a credit card. She is incredibly discreet. I live in a dorm room with a roommate and I feel comfortable leaving Mimi to charge on my desk without hiding her. This toy is great for beginners, however I would try out some cheaper toys to determine your tastes before splurging. Mimi is a great size and the shape is great for both pinpoint and general stimulation.

I bought the second generation and my new Mimi has 3 buttons: a plus, minus, and a pattern button. The buttons can be difficult to press especially the pattern button. All of Mimi vibrates and her 5 vibrations strengths are deep and rumbley which are also powerful. I personally prefer settings 3-4 and enjoy the "roller coaster" and "long pulse" patterns. With the addition of the pattern button you are now able to control the level of vibration during patterns as well. The only reason I have ever had to resort to using a vibrator in the shower is because I live in a dorm and don't want my roommate to here my vibrator. That being said, I have yet to test Mimi in the shower because it's not what I am looking for. Mimi is so quiet I have no need for the running water to cover up the buzz. Another slight disappointment I have found is the battery life. I can be pretty rough on my toys and my Mimi typically only lasts 30 minutes.

Mimi is 100% waterproof and she is easy to clean. To clean Mimi, the instructions recommend using warm water in soap. However, you can also use your preferred toy cleaner or toy wipes. Mimi comes in a beautiful box that is great for storage that also has a space for the charger however if you intend to keep her in a toy bag. I keep Mimi in her own zippered pocket or you could buy a silk bag. Mimi should only be used with water based lubricant and be kept away from any other silicone toys.

Mimi's new outer sleeve to the package is a little less discreet then the old packaging with a large picture of the vibrator. Beneath of the writing that says "vibrate more" kinda making it more obvious that it is a vibrator. The box itself is similar to the old, however it lacks the ribbon tie front. Instead has a slide off top.
