This toy is ugly!
I'm kind of ho-hum about this clitoral hummer. The reviews I read were great; though I'm don't hate it, I just don't know what the big deal is.

Pros
Waterproof and quiet
Cons
Weak vibrations and not visually appealing (ugly!)
I read quite a few stellar reviews about this toy so I thought I owed a fair shot to see what was so great about this item.
Looking at it, I always thought it looked very basic...boring even. I don't find anything visually appealing about this toy.
Ok, I'll just say it...I think it's ugly. I'd rather hump a big fake, vein-y plastic penis than this thing and I don't like my toys to look like actual body parts.
This plastic toy has a contoured groove for clitoral stimulation and a hard plastic nub for g-spot stimulation. The "scoop" in the toy is meant to be placed over the clitoris. I found that this did nothing for me. I ended up turning it over and using the g-spot nub to get off. The g-spot stimulation really doesn't do much for me either...other than making me feel like I'm going to pee. But that's a whole other topic...
There is a twist dial at the base of the toy that allows you to adjust the vibrations. Even with this baby cranked all the way up it seemed to take me a long time to get there. I moved it around and was moving against it and though I did eventually get there, it seemed like it took a lot of work.
I was surprised at the noise level. I expected it to be noisier than it is. Through a closed door I don't think you'd be able to hear it from the other side. However, putting pressure on it (grinding it against yourself) does tend to make it a little louder.
I like that it's waterproof, as I don't have many waterproof toys. It definitely makes for easier cleaning.
All in all, not a total disappointment. But right now I don't see what all the hype is about this. I think it'd be great for beginners, as the vibrations just didn't have enough oomph for me.
