Overall, this is a lovely toy for anyone looking for a fun, whimsical, orgasmic experience. It is perhaps too thick for some, but it's always satisfying when it's a good fit.
The only really practical use I've found for this toy is vaginal use. Because of how thick it is, I don't dare try to use it for vaginal play, and while it does feel interesting on my clit, the vibrations aren't strong and concentrated enough to use it for that purpose.
Also, because of the girth, I would only recommend this toy for those who have been using traditional vibrators for a while or who have enough elasticity to use it comfortably. I find it to be an uncomfortably tight fit at times and often don't use it without additional lubrication. The girth is also a blessing, as it makes the detailing all the more enjoyable and apparent.
The insertable length of this toy is made entirely out of top-quality silicone. Personally, this is my favorite type of material because it isn't porous and can therefore be easily cleaned and sterilized. The texture is smooth, with detailing and curves at the head of the vibrator that resemble the head of the lion (hence the name).
As is often the case with silicone, it has no unpleasant taste or smell. It is soft to the touch and flexible.
I think the design of this vibe is absolutely sexy. I was actually already quite proud to be a Leo, which is why I selected this vibrator from the Astrovibes collection. The only thing I don't like about the design is the color. Yellow isn't exactly my favorite, but I understand the connection to lions and all that.
As I've mentioned, I had a hard time using this toy because of how thick it was. I have to be really turned on and loose in order for it to fit easily and painlessly without using additional lube. Because of this, I tend to only use it during play with my partner, as he's better at turning me on than I am during solo play. I would recommend that only users who enjoy a lot of girth and who can handle it well use this product.
All that being said, this is obviously a vibrator. It may not be shaped like a penis, but the red dial at the bottom certainly draws a bit of attention. If you don't want people knowing about your special purchases, keep this one tucked away wherever you keep your toys.
The controls for this vibrator are fairly standard. At the base of the vibrator is a turn dial that starts at the lowest setting and gradually becomes stronger the farther you turn it. The amount of variation is pretty standard, ranging from "Oh, that's a nice little buzz" to "Oh! This is *really* nice!"
The vibrations, although fairly powerful, disperse fairly evenly throughout the toy (again, why I thought it wasn't suited for clitoral use). The intensity isn't always high enough for me, but they're quite enjoyable when I'm looking for more girth than power. The amount of noise it makes for the amount of power it brings, however, is a bit disappointing and somewhat of a turn off.
Because of how easy silicone is to maintain, cleanup and storage for this toy is a breeze. After play, I rinse off the toy in the sink and towel dry before putting it back into my special drawer where I keep all my toys.
Personally, I prefer to use water-based silicone for all my play, but as long as you don't use a silicone-based lube with this toy, you'll be fine. (Silicone-based lube can bond with the silicone on the toy and ruin the design. What a waste that would be.)

As much as I love this toy - it's super cute, it's unique, it's a good quality product - it's a little too girthy for me to use comfortably. I'm sure that once I become a more experienced user and buy a bit of lube, this toy will move back into my line up of regular toys. If you're looking at this particular toy from the Astrovibes line up, make sure you can handle a little girth. If you can, ENJOY!
