This Little Barbell is Too Big!
Not worth it. You should not have to alter toys radically to make them work. I really liked her show, but I did not like these Royal Balls. They are a Royal Pain in my okole!

Pros
No phthalates. Weighted for building up those PC muscles!
Cons
They're awfully long together, and they are a bit chunky, and non rotating.
I am a great fan of exercising with Ben Wa Balls. I have a tiny steel pair that I like to see how long I can hold both in while doing chores. They are tiny, and if you relax, one will fall out. For 20 bucks, I decided to "go modern" and buy this TPR set of "Royal Balls".
I wonder if Sue tests her toys herself. It was easy enough to insert, but the balls were a span of at least 4 inches long and attached together. This is too long for my un-arroused vagina to hold both, so one ball kept falling out. I tried more lube. I tried inserting them scrunched up, but one ball always fell out.
I had toyed with letting one ball hang out, and hanging on to the top one with my muscles while tugging at the string, and clamping down to retain the ball. Too time consuming. I tried cutting the toy in half and stuffing them into a condom - either one ball or both, and tying the end of the condom. This worked much better.
I was pretty disappointed by these bulky balls. They are easy to clean with antibacterial soap and water. Here is a link to Sue's Kegel Exercise workouts for other ways to strengthen your pelvic floor. Meanwhile, I will be sticking to my tiny metal balls, or a small heavy stone in a double condom as a Kegel-cizer.
Sue Johanson RN was decorated with The Royal Order of Canada award for her work as a sex counselor. In 2005, she teamed up with California Exotics to manufacture some quality sex toys. This is a quality made sex toy, but my vaginal canal is short, and many of the populous who needs to really exercise their pelvic floors (us post menopausal chicks) have atrophied vaginas.
I wish Sue had made these in a somewhat smaller size and kept the same barbell formation. I am not giving it one star because it is a well made toy. I'm not giving it three stars because it is not sexually titillating, nor is it small enough and heavy enough to be a challenge to retain.

Experience
Form and function, and the whole design aspect of a product is very important. The form and design are fine, they are unrealistically large for older women, and women with short vaginal canals. They are made of TPR, when silicone that is more pure would be better. They are too large to challenge the muscles.
There are no instructions, there is a picture of Sue on the front of the plastic package. I think Ms. Johanson should have more control over her products. I realize sex toys do not come with instructions, but they could give you a www.com address to get more info. "For novelty use only" is the norm with toys and products that can have a medical benefit.

Actually, these balls are the same size and dimensions, and similar materia,l as the Fun Factory Smart Balls. To really get full use out of them, even if you have a short vagina, you should really lube them up with KY; or a similar water based jelly lube (Astroglide makes a jelly lube in a tube that's good too). They are on par with Smartballs and a few bucks cheaper.

I agree with you 100% !

Informative review, but I think maybe your 2nd paragraph should have gone under experience! Thanks for your review!

Have you tried Smart Balls or Luna Beads or sometihng similar? Perhaps your shape and size are just not cut out for larger vag balls. Maybe some medium glass ones will be best for you

I have glass balls, but they are not as challenging as tiny metal balls. I will take your suggestion and try some Smart balls or Luna Balls! Thanks!
