The subtle Cupid can make for amazing orgasms but at a price. It's whisper quiet vibrations aren't over the top and the texture causes problems even for those who might have larger toys. Still a great buy with a high material rating for the price. I recommend it.

Pros
Soft and silky vibe that is whisper quiet and textured for her pleasure.
Cons
The vibrations aren't that strong and the texture adds to the girth making it an advanced toy.
From the first moment I unwrapped the "Cupid" vibe I was blown away. The non-threatening vibrations coupled with the texture of the vibe made for an out of this world clitoral orgasm. Gliding the toy up and down my pussy sent chills through my spine as the pronounced flowers and vibrations licked at my clit. It was amazing.
If you're out for something subtle and satisfying without a need to "get there fast", I would completely recommend the Cupid. If you're interested in something to send you over the top seconds after it touches your skin, maybe you should re-think your decision.
My experience, which I am still slightly shaking from, was amazing. I am used to the intense vibrations of a hitachi magic wand and this vibe gave it a run for its money in the quality of orgasm. I would best compare my experience as a slow seduction from a passionate lover.
The Cupid is made out of lush TPR Silicone and features a soft and squishy texture like that of jelly or rubber toys but also a level of firmness to mimic a realistic feel. It can only be used with water based lubes and I would suggest the same upkeep with any other toy.
Oh.. and the best part? No smell! Well technically I would say that the grade of the material would be the best part but I know most of you out there are immediately turned off by a toy if it smells rubbery or fruity. This one has no smell and feels silky soft to the touch. Apart from the lack of smell this toy also doesn't have a distinct taste, or any taste at all. The softness of the texture is a bit shocking and lightly drags against your tongue but otherwise it is kind of nice.
This is a hypoallergenic toy, it is latex and phthalates free.
The vibe is made up with a regular base with a TPR silicone sleeve which holds a bullet attached to a "bendy bit" which gives the vibe its flexibility. The bullet is situated at the tip so that the vibrations are centered there and are in my opinion dispersed throughout the toy rather nicely. This is a bendy vibrator, it isn't one of those sleeved traditional vibes, it is rather bendy like a dildo would be.
The flowers and vines running up the side of the vibe add for a very unique sensation. This is my first truly textured toy so I'm not completely sure how I feel about it yet but it is something special. The texture isn't sharp or harsh but soft enough to provide a nice tickle.
The toy is 7 1/4 inches in length with 6 inches insert-able. The circumference is 5 and a half inches which roughly translates to 1 3/4 inches in diameter. This toy doesn't seem it but it is in my opinion rather girthy. I have a couple toys which are 2 inches in diameter and I have no problems with them but this one, due to the flowers and vines, doesn't really fit that well. I did manage to slide it in but the vibrations weren't strong enough to push me over the edge.
Travel-wise, this vibrator still looks like that. A vibrator. I doubt it'd be easy to hide and it isn't too discreet.
I would say if you intend to use this internally it would be most likely for the more adventurous types and well experienced toy users. I'm still quite the novice.
Changing batteries is a snap, the Cupid vibe opens up like any traditional vibrator but there is a bit of guess work as far as how to situate the batteries, with a little trial and error it worked out fine for me. The compartment which holds the batteries is plastic with minimal exposed metal, paired with the protective bit of silicone so I assume the toy is water proof.
I put in the batteries and gave it a quick wash while the batteries were in so I can confirm this toy has no problems at all being submerged for a short period of time. It takes 2 AA batteries and tends to conserve power rather well. I've used it twice thus far and haven't had any dips in intensity or problems of that nature.
A classic turning base controls the vibe. The highest setting isn't anything to really write home about but is a steady and semi intense vibration. If you're used to higher end vibes like the Hitachi, you might have a bit of an anti climax as you set it to high. I, on the other hand, enjoy variety and I guess at times it pays to have a slow and steady vibe. It creates for a nice build up and more intense orgasm with my experience. The toy itself is also whisper quiet. I could only hear it if I held it close.
I need to note the turn control isn't exactly as reactive as you would expect, it is best to dial it up to high then go down to your preferred speed instead of letting it slowly increase. It does take a while for the motor to kick in so you might not get any vibration at a "low" setting.
Wash it with warm water and a mild soap before and after use. Slap a condom on that sucker if you're thinking of sharing or if you're worried about maintenance.
The toy itself seems like it would be rather low maintenance and feels rather sturdy. It's not porous so I doubt you'll have to worry about hidden bacteria but I would give it a good scrub because the flowers and vines are rather pronounced and you can never be sure where bad stuff could be lurking.
I keep all of my vibes and dildos in their original packaging, but I might have to make an exception with this one because the box is quite bulky and takes up a lot of space in my toy chest.
After washing, it did get a little sticky but that went away as it air dried.
The packaging for the Cupid has a fair amount of mistakes and "engrish" in the description. The toy is described to have realistic motions which it does not. There are no realistic movements, only vibrations.
Follow-up commentaryI don't like it anymore2 months after original review
The Cupid is still an amazing economy vibe, but it turns out the lack of g-spot curve was too much. I have moved to bigger and better things with a higher material safety rating. It served me well in the mean time, and I think it's still a good buy for the price. Won't disappoint.

great job!
Fuck it.
Engrish is a turn off for me. Too many bad toys from companies who can't afford a translator.
Nissa Nissa
Yeah, Engrish on a package is a bit disheartening but the texture and material was better than I had expected.
