The Leisure Lover is a girlish, traditional insertable vibrator with a flexible tip and a shape that resembles an elongated ice cream cone.

It would not be a good choice for external massage, since there is a bit too much drag on your skin for that, but it can be an effective internal massager.

Leisure Lover lacks the flared base that would make it suitable for anal play; however, it does have a retrieval cord. Be careful to hold onto it firmly if you use this for anal stimulation.

The Leisure Lover is made of PVC. While the packaging states that it is scent free, it does have a faint plastic scent, although is not strong enough to bother anyone.

It has five bulbs, which provide a mild amount of texture. The actual surface of the Leisure Lover is somewhat soft and has quite a bit of drag as you run your hand over it. While the surface looks frosted, it is not at all rough.

Those starting out using toys will not be intimidated or overwhelmed by this toy.

The Leisure Lover has five bulbs and a motor that extends through the two largest bulbs. While the pink exterior is compressible, the vibrator itself doesn't bend in the area of the two bigger bulbs. The three smaller bulbs however can be bent a little more than a ninety degree angle.

It is 7 1/2 inches long, 6 inches of which are insertable. The bulbs graduate in size from the smallest, which is 2 3/4 inches in circumference to the largest, which has a circumference of 5 3/8 inches.

A small cap can be unscrewed to allow the insertion of the AA battery. A rubber gasket seals the closure to make this vibrator waterproof. At the end of the cap is a dial that allows you to control the intensity of the vibrations. The dial rotates about a third of the way around. The dial turns easily with one hand.

The most puzzling feature of this toy is the black plastic heart that is suspended from a black nylon cord to provide a loop you can use, if you should decide to carry the Leisure Lover around on your wrist or hang it on a knob. The cord is attached to the vibrator through a small plastic loop that is part of the plastic enclosure for the motor. The loop is not removable.

The Leisure Lover is powered by a single AA battery. Its vibrations are strongest in the second largest sphere, but do transmit through the rest of the toy. The vibrations are buzzy, meaning the toy vibrates back and forth in small movements. This may make it less effective for some women. Still, considering that it is powered by a single battery, the vibrations are stronger than one would expect.

There are no patterned vibrations - just steady vibration. There aren't distinct speed settings. The dial can be rotated gradually to the desired vibration strength.

When used vaginally, you can feel each bulb, with sensation increasing as you progress to larger bulbs. The smallest bulb does not give a poking sensation. The dial is easy to adjust with one hand during use.

You will need to be careful to either remove the black heart or wrap it around the vibrator during use, otherwise the hard plastic heart can swing freely and hit your hand.

The Leisure Lover does remain watertight when submerged underwater while in use.

It is a bit noisy, but playing music while you use it should mask its sound.

This vibrator is constructed mostly of PVC and is waterproof, so it does not require much maintenance. Simply wash with soap and water, then dry. PVC is a fairly safe material and this toy contains antibacterial additives for extra safety.

Both silicone and water based lubricants are safe to use with it.

Although it is a bit better about remaining lint free than most PVC toys, you may wish to store it in a plastic bag to protect it - or hang it from a doorknob.

This product comes in a clear plastic package with descriptive statements on the front, instructions for battery insertion on the back and product warnings in multiple languages along one side.

The front of the package states that it is phthalate free, guaranteed waterproof and that it is a multi-speed massager that comes with a heart pendant. The package also states that it has a "frozen texture" and says "freezy stiffs." This is probably a translation issue. It is possible that it was meant to look like ice cream or a frozen treat of some kind. It is also likely that the manufacturers meant that it has a frosted appearance, which it does.
