The octopus that didn't like water
For under $12 I have bought better water-proof vibrators that have lasted exponentially longer. I originally bought it for the cute design, but I don't think I should have to sacrifice design for functionality.

Pros
cute with a nice texture
Cons
needs a more water-tight design
I thought this would be an interesting toy to use in the shower, since my boyfriend and I both love shower sex. After placing the order I couldn't wait for it to arrive, but I soon found out it was not what I had expected. The packaging looked so cute with the little pink octopus' look of surprise on its face. I hoped that my face would look like that by the time I was finished. So I read the instructions and took the vibrator out of the octopus to check it out and placed it back in my new jelly buddy. It was time to get dirty in the shower.
The on/off button kept getting stuck, making for awkward intercourse trying to fiddle with the button. I'm sure my boyfriend was as aggravated as I was, since I would stop to see why the hell it wasn't working. The textured jelly bottom felt nice on my sensitive areas with the vibrations, but it never brought me to orgasm. Then the vibrations started to fizzle out. It shorted out in the shower the second time I used it. The second time it worked in pitiful, low stimulation bursts. Eventually "The Screaming Octopus" ended up on the bottom of the shower, alone, and unsatisfying. Even after I'd tossed it I still wondered why it had that weird umbilical cord attached to the top of it.
I was very disappointed in the performance of my "gurgling" octopus. After this experience I was reluctant to buy anything similar to this. I love being adventurous and testing new things, but I was very frustrated that this thing wasn't able to make me climax. After all, what's a vibrator for? It wasn't worth the interrupted sex or $12 I payed for it. So now the little octopus lies in a drawer buried under bras, panties, and corsets that are never worn.

How exactly does this little guy work? Does it have multiple settings, take batteries? How do you turn it on and off, and do you have to cycle through anything?
