Pros
Eco-friendly. No chemical coating. The *perfect* size
Cons
The shine fades, but can be revived with a little oil
Love Nectar's crystal kegel egg is, with the exception of the retrieval cord, a very beautiful and discrete kegel exerciser. It's about 2 inches long, roughly the size of a Cadbury Crème Egg, and made of semi precious stone. The egg is tumbled to a high shine, no lacquers or polyurethanes, so it's hypo-allergenic and eco-friendly. The one I received was made of red jasper and stunning, truly lovely with its subtle variations of color. It weighs just over a quarter of a pound or about the same as a one inch steel ball bearing. It comes with a six page instruction pamphlet with descriptions and diagrams of different kegel exercises that are possible with the egg and a lovely velvet storage bag which doubles as a method of adding additional weight.
I found this to be a delight to use, not to big, not to small, just the right size for me to grip against while doing my kegels. I didn't need any lubricant to insert it, but it would be compatible with any lubricant or oil. It's weighty enough on its own to be suitable for beginners, and then you can use the pouch to add more weight as you progress towards “vagina like a bear trap” status. I found the addition of the pouch to be cumbersome without shortening the cords, but it's important to leave a little length for some of the more advanced exercises. I've been known to not use the additional weight pouch and just wear the egg for a couple hours while doing errands or working around the house. It's comfortable enough for long term wear once you build up your kegels a bit.
It cleans easily with a mild anti-bacterial soap and water, but I should note that because it is natural stone some bacteria can linger in the natural cracks and crevices. It can be sanitized by wiping down with isopropyl alcohol, but I still wouldn't advise sharing. The high shine it arrives with can diminish due to exposure to your bodily fluids; it can be brought back by rubbing it with grape-seed extract or even olive oil. The diminished shine in no way compromises the integrity of the stone. My body chemistry is on the acidic side, so it took about a week for my glossy egg to be completely matte; a little avocado oil rub down (and by little I mean less than a dime sized drop) brought that right back.
Kegels are an important part of female health; in addition to making sex more pleasurable, strong PC muscles can help prevent urinary incontinence, anyone who's had a baby and discovered the “sneeze and pee” phenomenon can rectify that malady with a kegel regimen. I think every woman should do kegels daily, but this egg can help you bring it to the next level.
One last note, the company website sells bases for the eggs so you really could display it as an object d'art, as well as stone weights to add to the pouch. Eden Fantasy does not, at the time of this review, stock those products.

I haven't been using this as much as I should because of my running schedule, but I can honestly say, yes, I can crush a soda can with the power of my kegels!
