The Harmony Divine Is Good for Cheap Thrills in the Tub
This relatively inexpensive dildo from Doc Johnson is not super powerful, but it's fun-looking, interestingly shaped, and can be used in the tub.

Pros
shape, looks, a button that doesn't accidentally engage.
Cons
on the cheaper end of the spectrum.
My favorite thing about the Harmony Divine is its cool alien look. Mine is in white, and it looks like it would be at home on any space station night-table.
I like the fact that it's made of pthalates-free hard plastic, which is reliably safer than the run-of-the-mill plastic jelly that most cheap vibes are made of. The vibe motor itself is no frills and offers only three steady speeds. The nipple-type button turns it on and cycles through the three speeds. On the plus side, the button is not easy to accidentally push while you're using it. It takes 2 AAA batteries, and, while it's strong enough to make me come, it's not a particularly powerful vibe. I do enjoy vibes transmitted through hard plastic, so that's a plus. It's a little loud, but if you play music, it should drown out the noise.
The Harmony Divine is a little on the wide side, nearly 2 inches at its widest point, but it's tapered tip means it goes in easy. The curve is hard and unyielding, so if you prefer curved toys that are flexible, this is not for you. On the other hand, if you enjoy unyielding hardness, this toy would be great for delivering that extra hard sensation. The ridges on the middle portion do provide some extra stimulation at the opening of the vagina when you're thrusting. I found that the curve was especially effective when I just inserted the tip a little and let the curve lay mostly on the outside of my vulva, hitting my clit. That's always a good way to get off, and can be hands-free if you slip it inside your underwear. It has a decent enough seal that I used it in the shower - I would hesitate to immerse it fully in a bath for any long period of time because it's not of exceptionally high-quality.
This is a rather inexpensive plastic vibe, and you can see tiny irregularities along the seams - nothing that gets in the way of its use, just a smidge of hardened excess glue from where two pieces were joined. It's fair to assume that this toy will not last a lifetime with regular use, but that's to be expected given the low price. A lifelong vibe is typically 5-10 times more expensive than a Doc Johnson vibe.

Follow-up commentary

I haven't used this vibrator again because it's not very powerful, and only offers three speeds. Granted, I do own an obscene amount of vibrators, some of which cost $100+. But $50 is too much to pay for such a simple vibrator.
