The Clit Clubber

The Sweet Treat didn't wow me at all. It's functional as a clitoral vibrator, but the vibes are pretty buzzy which I don't enjoy much. I did finish, but this isn't a toy I'd recommend to those on a budget. There are better choices for the price.

Use

The Sweet Treat is a slightly odd, but wonderfully simple vibrator form Shaki Toys. Shaki doesn't have the best track record with me, but this one did decently. The vibrations are very powerful, perhaps too powerful on the highest of the multi-speeds. Unfortunately, the toy is not quiet. It's quite loud! It is easy to use though, doesn't even require any instruction. Good thing, because it would be in Japanese like the rest of the writing on the package is. While it's not that much of a difference, I don't think this toy is worth more than $10. It belongs in a less than 10 bucks bargain bin because of its cheap construction. The plastic is nice and smooth and can be used with any lubricant, but the cord is thin and iffy. The light up feature is also pretty useless. It just takes up batteries.

Material / Texture

The Sweet Treat is made of ABS plastic which is smooth to the touch and hard. It doesn't usually require much, if any, lubricant It is free of phthalates and latex, is hypo-allergenic, and a food-grade material. The plastic feels reasonably thick on the bullet part, but not as much on the controller. Even though this plastic is non-porous, it cannot be sterilized, so sharing is not a good idea without a condom. using one is a bit awkward on the shape of this toy though.

The pink color of the one I received is the typical Barbie high heel pink. It also comes in a golden yellow of which I would have preferred even though I don't like yellow. I say this because you don't often find yellow toys.

I did not notice any smell or taste to these bullets.

Design / Shape / Size

The main part of the Sweet Treat is shaped like a primitive club or a wiffle ball bat, if you ask me. It's length is 4 1/2" in total. The useful larger part of the bullet is 2 1/2" long. This portion maintains the same circumference thickness of about 3 1/2". This part has a lot of surface area for finding the clit or sliding up and down the labia. It's not best for insertion because it is small, but might be good for shallow teasing. This toy is NOT suited for anal play, unless you intend to just tease the outside anal area.

The smaller part of the bullet proves to be a nice little handle for guiding the toy around your body. At the base of it is where the cord enters through a small hole that has no washer or plug. It's possible that the cord can easily be yanked out if you are not careful. This toy is not waterproof, and therefor shouldn't be inserted without a condom.

The cord is the typical really thin size from Shaki. It's not even a 1/8" thick, very dainty. The cord is decently long for solo use at 24". A full two feet should be good for pretty much anyone to reach their clit comfortably in many positions. It's not great for use with a partner during sex though.

The control pack is the same pink color, long and thin. It is 4" long, 1 1/8" wide, and 5/8" thick. It's a good size for fitting nicely in the hand and is easy to control since there is only one turn dial. There is also a red light indicator for the power and intensity. It corresponds with one that is placed in the end of the bullet. I find it pretty useless for the bullet, but that's just me. The back opens with the push of a thumb on the grated surface. The battery cover is attached so it can't be lost, thankfully. Insert two AA batteries (not included), and you are ready to go.

Even though the bullet isn't traditionally shaped, it looks traditional enough to be obvious as a sex toy. It's small enough for easy travel though.
Because the design is so traditional, this toy is not discreet. It is pretty light weight though and would not take up much room in a suitcase or luggage bag.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The simple control on this vibrator is great, but I wish it was a tad harder to turn. It can sometimes turn on randomly when I don't want it to. It sort of has slowly increasing speed with the turn of the dial, but I think I can feel four speeds: low, medium, medium high, and high. Even the lowest setting is loud, and the highest is annoying. It can be heard through a closed door for sure. All of the speeds are steady and don't waver much. The vibrations are somewhat buzzy and make my hand go numb after only a few minutes of use.

I found the lowest level to be too weak for anything but light teasing. The second level could finish me in time, but the third was perfect. The highest level was too much for me. In fact, it was painful. The size of this bullet makes it possible to add vibrator sleeves to is. I have a few short ones, and this dampened the vibrations a bit and added some texture.

I prefer this vibrator for all over teasing, clitoral, and specifically nipple stimulation. It's not great for insertion because it is so short, but you could use it for teasing also.

Care and Maintenance

As stated previously, you can use any kind of lubrication with the Sweet Treat. Just be careful to not apply lubricant near the area where the wire connects. When cleaning, be careful to not get water near the base. It's best to just use a toy wipe. Let it dry and either place it back in the package or in a place out of direct sunlight.

Packaging

The packaging is extremely minimal. It is just a clear small, plastic box. The front says "Skelton Rotor" on it. I'm assuming they meant to spell skeleton and that the design was supposed to look like a bone? I don't know. Anyways, the rest of the writing is in Japanese.

Follow-up commentary
This item was only used ta handful of times for the review, and then never again. Amongst my collection, I could find no reason to hold onto it. I did pass on the others I had to friends. I especially liked the yellow color of the other one I had.
