Teases for sure

The Nick Hawk Pocket G by California Exotic Novelties is a great way to get someone started in g-spot exploration. It's rigid enough to find most g-spots and it is waterproof making it easy to clean and more fun to use. The tip may be a little too pointy for some people but it's worth a try at the price of this toy!

Use

The Nick Hawk Pocket Teaser G by California Exotic Novelties is a vibrator that is designed to be used for g-spot stimulation. Being a pocket-sized vibrator, this isn't safe for anal use unless you invest in a vibrator enhancer to help with it not getting lost in your bum.

Since it is on the small side for vibrators, this would be a great first toy for someone just starting out with trying to find their g-spot. It's not intimidating, it is easy to use and it's easy to clean and take care of. Size queens will definitely be left wanting, so obviously they'll want to look elsewhere.

This vibrator claims that it is waterproof, so bath and shower play is possible as well as easy cleaning. Make sure to cover it with a condom if you're sharing with someone who isn't fluid bonded with you yet. Be sure to always cover with a condom if you plan on using it for anal stimulation (with a vibrator enhancer) because it is somewhat porous.

Material / Texture

The Pocket G is made from purple PU coated plastic which has a 7 out of 10 safety rating on the Eden materials safety scale. PU coated plastic is phthalate-free, has a low porosity level, is very rigid and carries vibrations well. It is very smooth to the touch, is matte in appearance and there really is no odor to it. It does have a small amount of drag so using some lubricant will probably be necessary; water based and silicone based lubricants are the best choices.

Design / Shape / Size

The Pocket G is shaped like any other traditional, straight vibrator but it has a bent tip for g-spot stimulation. The base where the battery compartment is has a push button control with a black, shiny plastic wave around it for decoration. The battery compartment screws on/off the vibrator and at the bottom of the threading on the inside there is a stretchy, rubber ring for waterproofing the toy.

There is one noticeable seam running the length of the toy, down the front and back of the shaft, but it's not easily felt during use. This toy is pretty small at 5 1/2" in overall length and a 1" diameter but it'd be great to travel with. On that note, it does look very much like a sex toy so you may want to keep it wrapped up.

Functions / Performance / Controls

There is a simple push button on the bottom of the vibrator that turns the toy on, cycles through all the functions and turns it off. One press of the button turns the toy on and then each press after that will cycle through the functions listed here:

1. Low steady vibration
2. Medium steady vibration
3. High steady vibration
4. 3-4 very fast pulses, one long pulse
5. Fast Pulsing
6. Rollercoaster, low-high
7. 3 pulses, quick pause, 3 more pulses

If you hold the button down for three seconds it will turn the toy off. There is no dedicated on/off button and this toy will not save your setting when it is shut off so you will have to cycle through again once it's turned back on. The button is also not lockable for travel so removing the batteries while traveling is suggested to avoid vibrating luggage.

The vibrations carry very well to the tip but they are quite buzzy and the toy is noisy during use. It will be heard through blankets and possibly through a closed door so dorm use is not suggested with this one unless you can figure out how to make it quieter. The vibrations aren't super strong but at 3 vrooms it's good enough for beginners and those folks who don't need tons of power.

Care and Maintenance

Washing the Pocket G is simple, just wash with warm water and antibacterial soap or toy cleaner or wipe it down with a toy and body wipe. To sterilize it you can wipe it down with some isopropyl alcohol or a 10% bleach solution but be sure you rinse it thoroughly to avoid getting chemicals in sensitive body areas.

To store the toy you can just toss it in with your other toys, slip it into a toy pouch or old sock, put it on a shelf or in a drawer. Just make sure if you have children or pets that you keep it out of reach or under lock and key so it doesn't get discovered or damaged.

Packaging

The Nick Hawk Pocket Teaser G came packaged in the typical Cal Exotics paperboard box. It has a picture of the toy and Nick Hawk on the front and the back lists some key features of the toy in five different languages. Each side has a bit more information or logos for Cal Exotics and its waterproof claim.

Inside the box the vibrator was inside a plastic bag that was put into a bubble wrap bag with a vibrator instruction manual. The manual gives you information on battery insertion, how to use the toy and a list of warnings. This is all repeated in the same five languages as the back of the box.

The packaging doesn't come with any warranties but there is a website where you can register your toy listed on the back of the box at the bottom. The packaging makes terrible storage and isn't discreet at all so you will want to wrap it if gifting it to someone.

Experience

Once lubed up and tried out I found this vibrator to be too pointy and buzzy for my liking. I prefer more rounded, rigid objects like the Pure Wand for g-spot stimulation. I did however relish in the fact that this toy actually is waterproof, you just have to make sure you screw down the battery compartment cap tight enough or it won't turn on but it helps keep the water out too.

I normally have issues with toys that claim to be waterproof but this is one vibrator that held up to its claim. I had completely submerged the toy in a bowl of water for a few minutes while I took a quick bathroom break. When I came back to it I dried off the outside and then opened up the battery compartment. There weren't any drops of water anywhere inside the toy and it still worked when I turned it on.
