The necklace arrived in a small, see-through, black drawstring pouch. Very simple, but nice! The bag can be reused as a gift bag! I have tons of drawstring pouches I keep in my wrapping container because their are always uses for them! There was no plastic or cardboard holding the necklace, which saves on trash. The necklace is of nice enough quality that the chains didn't bunch of seize!

I'm not sure what the material is, but the chains are done thicker than cheap necklaces. I have sensitive skin and have noticed no stains left on my skin, nor chafing or pulling of hair. There are actually two chains in this. Each chain is 9 1/2" long and have another regular ring clasp connecting to the charm. The charm itself is 1 1/2" long and 1/2" high. I love that the chain connects doubly so if for some reason it breaks, you can attack it to bracelet chains from the craft store. You could also add more charms to the end and connect with bracelet chains as well, or even find shorter chains/ribbon to make it into a choker!

The charm is on a silver bar that allows it to move slightly to fit with your movements. It doesn't really work to well on me, but if your chest doesn't push out as much as mine does, it should work fine. The letters are all seperate, not attached, and helps in this flow technique. Each letter is studded with tiny clear gemstones that are obviously made to look like diamonds. Although cheap, they give a great sparkle and seem to be held in their very nicely. I'm not worried about any falling out with me chucking it against the wall! The back of the charm is smooth and without gemstones to prevent irritation.

The main clasping is the lobster style, but the smaller version. I have very tiny hands and fingers and had a bit of difficulty putting it on myself. If you have troubles dealing with small clasps, you will need help. I love the lobster clasps though because they are usually more sturdy and hold better than the rings. Although the clasps at the charm are rings, they should hold good if you aren't tugging on it all the time.

There isn't too much to say on this piece, as it's a simple necklace. But between the shine, the quality, and the price, It's a definite must for your jewelry box! I really wasn't expecting this to be so nice! If you found this at a retailer, I would expect it to be at least twice the price, as must places charge a lot for anything decent. Let's not forget to mention that you won't find this particular charm at the jewelry store!

So far, this necklace has held up great to everyday wear and tear. I've gotten many compliments on it, some people thinking it stood for initials. The necklace is still s shiny as when I got it and is easily cleaned with an eyeglass cleaning wipe.
