Sweet Little Thing!
You get so much in such a small package! Unlike other vibrators of this layout, the vibrations travel well from the bullet all the way up to the head. The little butterfly is just right for stimulating the clitoris. While many women will find it too flexible to apply the needed pressure to stimulate their g-spots, I use muscle contractions to stimulate mine and the head is bulbous enough to do the trick. Easy to clean, easy to hide. All in all, great toy, one of my favorites!

Pros
Discreet, vibrations travel well to the head, butterfly provides awesome texture.
Cons
Have to switch through all nine functions to turn it off.
My little disclaimer: Just like with my first review, I'd like to point out that while reviews can be very helpful when researching and selecting a product to purchase, every woman is different. Your personal anatomy, level of sensitivity, and just plain preferences may be completely different from mine. So please, do not use my review alone as advice on whether or not this would be a good choice for you. Combine it with other reviews and the knowledge you have of your body and preferences to make an educated, informed decision. That being said, away we go!
I LOVE my Butterfly Kiss Platinum. I think that more toys should be made available in a "Basic" and a "Platinum" or other upgraded version. In this case, the basic model has three different speeds of vibration, all constant. The Platinum has six EXTRA functions after those first three—they range from escalation, to pulsation, to those fun little morse-code short and long combo patterns! In that way alone, this toy is pretty versatile.
One of the tricky things about anything meant to stimulate the g-spot, particularly something that has a clitoral stimulator preventing you from inserting it as deeply as you want, is that not all g-spots are at the same depth. Fortunately, I am one of those whose g-spot is at the average two to three inches deep. The neck on it is pretty flexible, so most women would probably not find this to be a very effective g-spot stimulator (repetitive pressure is needed). However, the head on it is rather bulbous and since I stimulate my g-spot with kegels as opposed to manually applying pressure, this item does the trick for me just fine.
The clitoral stimulator is to die for. I used to be the type of person who felt a little put-off getting her jollies with something that looks like a cute little animal (but you get over that). The wings and antennae are small but do more than enough to stimulate the clitoris and surrounding area. (On a side note, the reason many women love vibrators shaped like butterflies and rabbits is that stimulating the SIDES of the clitoris can often be more enjoyable than just on-point vibration).
The entire toy is 7 1/2 inches long, with the insertable length being 3 1/2 inches. At its widest, the head is about 3 1/2 inches in circumference.
Many toys of this general design that I've come across at the adult novelty store where I work are pretty disappointing. The bullet is toward the bottom at the clitoral stimulator, and not much of the vibration carries up to the insertable part. The Butterfly Kiss is an exception! I don't know if it has something to do with the material it's made out of, but the head vibrates almost as hard as the butterfly! That was the reason I bought it in the first place.
It is made of TPR which, according to EdenFantasys' material guide, is compatible with both water- and silicone-based lubricant. But I have read on other people's reviews that TPR is a derivative of silicone and therefore CANNOT be used with silicone-based lube. I'm not usually a lube person, so I'm sorry to say I don't have any feedback for this product in relation to lubricant. I find the material to be easy to clean, never found it to have an odor. The texture and shape of the butterfly, particularly the ridges along his belly, could require a little extra effort when cleaning. But I use a foaming toy cleaner and never need anything more than my fingertips to get a thorough clean.
I tried to use it as just a clitoral stimulator during sex. If I had stuck with just using the head against my clitoris, it wouldn't have been a problem. But I love that little butterfly and tried to turn it around and make it work. However, my Knight in Shining Comic Book T-Shirts found that it got in the way of what he was trying to do.
If I had to come up with one complaint about it, it would be that it is all controlled by one button, on the bottom of the toy. So even if you're only on Function 3 and the job is done, you have to hit that bad boy several times to roll through the different functions and turn it off. Sometimes I get impatient and just twist the battery compartment open and closed again to turn it off, but I'm pretty sure that would damage it in the long run if I kept it up.
All in all, I would say that this is an awesome product and I sell several of them at work when I tell customers that it's one of my favorites!

Follow-up commentary
4 months after original review
Now that my rabbit went and died on me, the Butterfly Kiss has been my go-to toy! It still does everything for me that it used to, and now that I no longer have a larger, twirling-head style vibrator, I appreciate this one ever more!

Thank you for viewing Butterfly kiss platinum edition – g-spot vibrator review page!
However, I know that some people need to know about the noise levels of toys because they live in conditions where theyt have to hide their toy usage (roomates, visitors, children, thin walls...), so it's always useful to include a little comment to the effect of how far away you can hear this toy in use, what kind of muffling you can use to reduce the level of noise, can you hear it through the covers or through a closed door? (in the case of toys where the answer is a definite yes, people with these limitations will know not to use them unless absolutely alone or to turn the radio or tv on during use)
Also, I'm flattered that you decided to check out my reviews to get a feel of how to write a review. I'm still learning myself; if I may make a suggestion, take a look at my mentor Antipova's reviews. She writes excellent reviews.
