Supersized Squiggle Surprise
Patterns offer great change of pace for those with a stash of more basic one-buzz toys. If you're into that filled-up feeling, this is a no brainer purchase, but if you're a casual vibe player, this one probably isn't your cup of tea.

Pros
Many different patterns, great G-spot stimulation, great for those who like thickness.
Cons
May be too strong and too thick for some, buttons in weird place, ridges are a little much.
Packaging: The Squiggle comes packaged in Cal Exotics' basic clam-shell style plastic packaging. It is clear and you can see the toy. Anyone who sees this thing will know right off the bat that it's not a neck massager you got at that mall gadget store, so I don't know that I would call it discreet. It isn't much larger than the toy itself, so there's not a lot of extra packaging to store, so it might work well for keeping the toy lint free.
Scent: It does have a chemically, plastic smell. After a few washings with scented antibacterial soap, it still had not gone away. My guess is that the scent will continue to stick around, though it might fade over time.
Material: The Squiggle is made of PVC. Care is easy as you can wash it with soap and water or toy cleaner. However, it is not free of phthalates so may want to let it off-gas if you’re worried about that, and I wouldn't recommend use before a good wash and airing. Also, once you wash it, it does tend to attract more fuzzies than I expected. Share only with a condom.
Sound: The squiggle is very loud. It's not the loudest toy I own, but you can hear it pretty readily in the same room, and even a bit if it's inserted and you're under covers.
Experience: This thing has super powerful vibrations. I, personally, enjoy a strong vibe, but that may not be for everyone. It offers ten patterns of vibration, but some of the "patterns" are just slower and less intense versions of the other patterns. The patterns are nice for a change of pace while playing. I've never owned a vibe that did more than just a steady vibration, so it was really interesting to me to feel something different. I found that if one pattern was getting stale, it was really nice to switch and get something completely different. The vibrations do run throughout the length of the toy, even into the part you hold onto, and my hand started feeling kind of numb after a little bit.
This toy is BIG. Lube is a must for this one, and some people still probably won't be able to insert it comfortably no matter how hard they try. I had to warm up to insertion, but once I got it in there, it filled me up really nicely and felt great. I honestly don't think it would be as much of a pain if the "squiggles" on the toy weren't so pronounced. While the texture is okay initially, after a few thrusts I found myself wishing they weren't there.
The Squiggle does kind of bend in the middle, and for the most part it held the shape, but I didn't really find that feature particularly useful. To me it just made it more awkward to insert and hold.
It has a nice curved tip that really hits g-spot perfectly and with the right amount of pressure. However, this curve also made for more difficult insertion considering the girth.
Now, maybe I'm just dumb, but I still haven’t figured out how to work the 'memory' feature. All I can figure is that it knows what setting you left it on if you turn it off and on with the non-pattern button. The buttons are in an awkward place too, and since they both feel the same it’s hard to tell which one you need unless you keep your hand there. They are easy to push, but this could be a good thing or a bad thing, as it also makes it easy to turn the toy off accidentally while you're playing. The buttons light up with an orange LED, and blink along with the chosen pattern. Honestly, I don't know what purpose that serves, but I don't think it's a bad thing.
It's labeled as waterproof, and it held up under running water just fine. There were no leaks into battery compartment or under the buttons. It also survived a shower.
Also, I wanted to mention that it does really work nicely as a body massager for 'non-happy-fun-time' body parts. I had pulled muscles in my thighs working out and it really helped them relax and lessened pain. I know that's not something people normally think about when buying a sex toy, but it's worth mentioning.
Stats:
Length- 8 1/2"
Insertable length- 6 3/4"
Circumference- 6" (I can barely wrap my thumb and forefinger around it)
Diameter- 1 7/8"
Weight- 10.5 oz and that's without batteries. I'd say it comes close to a full pound with batteries inserted.

Experience
I liked this one really well, but mostly because I have never had a toy with different patterns of vibration and that was new and exciting to me. Some of the toy's flaws may or may not be deal breakers for some people (size, material, weight, intensity), but I think with a little reinvention this toy could be really fabulous. If you can't stand much thickness, or you really don't like high intensity vibrations, this isn't a toy for you. But if you happen to like being filled up with a strong buzzy toy, then by all means pick this one up. I give it a four star rating only because some of the downfalls I mentioned, might be reasons not to buy this toy overall for some buyers.
Follow-up commentary

There's no "I fell in love with it" option! Honestly, I wasn't initially all that "heartbroken" as the image seems to think I was, but really I just adore this vibe now. I have found that lately this is my go-to vibe for fooling around, as well as for getting one last little "O" in after sex.
The plastic chemical smell has faded a LOT after several uses and washings. I've also started storing it outside of the original packaging, and I think that may have helped too.
The waterproof-ness has held up to a few showers too, so I definitely think a submersion in a tub or pool would do just fine. It's definitely the most waterproof toy I own at this point.
I still haven't quite got the hang of the "memory" capabilities. I think if the buttons were somehow marked or otherwise differentiated from each other I would have an easier time at it. As it stands, that's a feature I don't care much about, as I know where the patterns I love are in the sequence and can find them lickety-split.
The battery life in this puppy is definitely noteworthy as well. I've used it well over a dozen times--even many long-term sessions--and the intensity hasn't faded a bit. Hurrah for an intense toy that isn't a battery hog!
If you give this one a try and don't love it at first, continue to give it a chance. It will definitely end up a best bud in your toy drawer!
