The Fetish fantasy ben wa balls by Pipedream are a great option for vaginal exercise for beginners who aren't afraid to feel around and become familiar with their vagina. The removal can be a bit tricky with these particular exercisers but other than that these are great for working out your muscles. With their material and ease of use many will find these enjoyable but without a retrieval cord there are sure to be some who will pass them up.

The Fetish Fantasy ben wa balls by Pipedream are designed with women in mind and are made to help you work on strengthening your pelvic floor muscles. By working your pelvic floor muscles you can increase vaginal elasticity and bladder control. These ben wa balls work great for those ladies that have a problem with slight incontinence that happens when they sneeze, cough or laugh. This slight incontinence problem can worsen with age but using ben wa balls or some other form of vaginal exerciser can treat the condition. Also with regular use of the ben wa balls you can possibly have stronger, more frequent orgasms.
The 1" ben wa balls are great for beginners, but only those who aren't afraid to insert them. Some ladies feel that inserting something so small without a retrieval cord will get "lost" in their vagina but that just doesn't happen. One may get temporarily stuck but it's easy enough to reach a finger in to help get it out.
Being made of glass these balls are easy to use, clean and insert. They also offer some temperature play if that's something you're into; just warm them or cool them by placing them in warm or cold water before inserting. These ben wa balls can also be used in the bath tub or shower if you're into playing with toys in water.
Partner play is possible if you don't mind having your partner insert them for you but beyond that these balls are more of a solo experience type of product. Be sure you don't share your ben wa balls with someone else unless they're cleaned and sterilized first or you are fluid bonded with that person. Placing the balls in a condom before use could work to keep from passing on anything icky but it could also make it easier to retrieve these after you're done using them.
These ben wa balls are made from Borosilicate glass, also known as Pyrex, which has a 10 out of 10 rating on the Eden materials safety scale. This means glass is very smooth, non-porous, hypo-allergenic and more dense than ordinary glass. It will not shatter like ordinary glass but instead will break or snap into bigger chunks if dropped. Glass retains temperatures very well and only needs a little bit of lubricant to obtain a super slippery surface. So just choose your favorite lubricant to use with these ben wa balls to make insertion easier.
There is no odor to the glass material at all and these balls came in an opaque black color but they are very shiny. Also note that these are the 1" ben wa balls, so they are the smaller size; they are also available in 1 1/4" here on Edenfantasys.
The Fetish Fantasy ben wa balls are 1" in diameter or 25 millimeters, they each weigh 0.7 ounces or 20 grams and are spherical in shape. Each ben wa ball is made from an opaque black glass that is very shiny and smooth and there are no gaps or seams to be found anywhere on either one.
The size of these ben wa balls would be great for anyone really but beginners especially since they're the smaller size option. If you're a lady with a smaller vaginal canal the 1" balls are recommended for comfort and ease of use. The design is pretty discreet as far as ben wa balls go but anyone who knows about ben wa balls will probably be able to guess what they are.
In the way of strengthening vaginal muscles these ben wa balls seemed to perform very well. The weight was just right to try and keep them in but honestly these are an at-home only exercise regimen as the balls could slip out and fall to the floor at an inopportune time. To avoid embarrassing yourself in this way it is suggested to use these in the privacy of your own home, without children around just in case they do come slipping out.
The only downside with these specific ben wa balls was the removal. Since these aren't connected and don't have a retrieval cord, the first one that was inserted was harder to remove. The last ball inserted just sort of popped out when bearing down and pushing with the vaginal muscles but the first ball inserted was farther up in the vaginal canal and needed some guidance with fingers to get it out.
Since the Fetish Fantasy ben wa balls are made from glass they are very easy to clean. They are completely waterproof so just wash them in warm water with an antibacterial soap or toy cleaner or wipe them down with toy and body wipes. Sterilize them simply by boiling for three minutes or tossing them in the dishwasher on the top rack without detergent.
To store your ben wa balls simply place them in the separated storage pouch that came with them in the packaging. This way they don't clack against each other or other toys and they can be kept together. Just be sure you don't place these with toys or something else that is very heavy to avoid breakage.
The Fetish Fantasy ben wa balls came packaged in a lightweight cardboard box that's all black with the exception of the back side of it. The front of the box tells you exactly what they are and shows them being held in someone's hand and the back of the box shows a close up of the balls and the storage pouch that's included. It also gives you all kinds of information about the balls and has a black and white square you can scan with your smart phone for more information. Inside the cardboard box the balls and the storage pouch are resting in a black plastic insert that has a lid that just slides off to open it.
The packaging is not discreet at all and should be wrapped before gifting. It's also not great for storage and should be recycled but it comes with a storage pouch to put the balls in. There were no instructions, booklets or warranties included in the packaging but these ben wa balls are easy enough to figure out.
When first receiving these ben wa balls I was excited to try them out and happy that they were made from one of my favorite materials. After washing and drying these I slipped them on in and went about my daily chores to see what they'd be like. While I noticed they did work my vaginal muscles I didn't really notice much pleasure while using them.
Removal was the oddest part for me but it wasn't a totally horrible experience. The last ball that was inserted was easy to get out, just some pushing with the muscles and it slipped right out. The first ball that was inserted had gotten pushed by the last ball so it was further up the vaginal canal and harder to get out. At first I just tried pushing a few times with my vaginal muscles and it didn't really do much other than maybe move it down a little. Next I tried inserting a finger behind the ball to kind of pry it loose and that was the ticket. While bearing down and pushing with my vaginal muscles I pried with my one finger behind the ball and out it popped.
While the removal is a bit tricky on the first ball inserted I still enjoyed using these ben wa balls to strengthen my muscles. They honestly will not end up my go-to vaginal exercisers but they will still hold a place in my box of toys.
Follow-up commentaryI still like it3 months after original review
These glass balls are still a great addition to my toy box but I just don't use them as much as my Luna Beads Mini. The ben wa balls haven't sustained any chips, cracks or other quality issues and the storage pouch is still holding up very well.
