Space age sexy idea, but not even remotely ASTROnomical ...
Astro certainly didn't make me see stars, but rather crashed and burned. If you're looking for the all around satisfying, waterproof, vibrating toy, this is certainly NOT my first choice!
Published:
Pros
Soft, jelly, pleasurable ribs, quiet, and bendable.
Cons
Very minimal stimulation!!
Astro ride arrived in a standard plastic package, with that sort of ‘my first 1970s sex toy’ feel, but still it looked promising ...
It appeared to combine for a perfect threesome:
1) 1 1/2 inches wide at the tip of its soft jelly bulbous head
2) followed by six tantalizing ribs to add to your pleasure
3) last but certainly not least, a bendable core allowing up to 90 degrees in any direction
**Sounding good so far right?!?! So let me add just a few more high points:
Astro is a little over 7" tall, averages 1 1/4 inches wide overall, and is waterproof!
The overall material is ‘jelly’ (Poly vinyl chloride). So it feels great in the shower, or the pool with just water or you can use a silicone lubricant.
*Just remember: Jelly material can't be sterilized. Therefore no sharing without a condom! Clean all jelly toys with the warm water and toy cleaner, no strong soaps, and store in a cool dark place.
So it's still all sounding great right?!?!? That's what I thought, but was so disappointed! It takes three AAA batteries, which you put in with a 1/2 twist of the hard plastic base cap (which I wasn't convinced would keep any water out at all, but to my surprise it did). Now for the blast off!
I turned it on, and immediately realized - well ... it's very quiet, but the reason for that is that it's barely vibrating!!!! I of course went and switched to a different brand new pack of batteries, but no change. The vibration is the strongest right below the bulb, which of course you can bend into any position you want. It did a great job reaching my G spot, but unfortunately 90% of the stimulation had to come from me manually.
Now I have gone back to try Astro out on several occasions, because it looks great. In the shower the jelly feel, combined with the ribs and bend-ability, is fantastic; but if you're looking for vibrations, there's far better toys out there.

Thank you for viewing Astro ride – g-spot vibrator discontinued review page!
It's a shame cause their toys are so pretty and unusually shaped...these would be good for really sensitive beginners or those who just don't like a heavy vibration I suppose.
Thanks for the review!
