Soft Served For The New Toy Nerd
First time softee pleaser is a gentle, soft vibrator that works well for first time use or even as a travel aid. I don't see it having a long life, however, due to its loose O ring seal and TPE sleeve. If you are new and exploring shapes, sizes and textures, this would be a great toy to try out without dropping a ton of cash. Those who use toys on a regular basis might get nothing more than a tease out of it.

Pros
Soft textured TPE sleeve, easy on the wallet, great for beginners.
Cons
Too weak and small for the more experienced or those who like girth and power.
** What It's For **
The First time softee pleaser from Cal Exotics is a soft, subtle vibrator intended for gentle stimulation and exploration for a first time user, or one who is still new to the toy scene. Its solid core provides a hint of firmness while its soft TPE sleeve and gentle texture allow it to stimulate the user's body softly. The best place to use this is on the clitoris, nipples or g spot, but please do not use this for anal play. It is far too small and thin, and can be lost easily in the anal cavity resulting in a trip to the ER!
** Size and Design **
This toy is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, making it easy to hide or travel with. The whole thing is 6" long(5" insertable) and sports a slight contoured tip that is helpful for finding the G spot. It has a small diameter of about an inch which makes it beginner's territory. Those who are more advanced and like girth will not be impressed with this.
Softee has a simple plastic shaft covered with a TPE sleeve that makes it soft and pliable. The sleeve can come off but it's not intended to be removable, so if you do take it off you probably won't get it back on.
The TPE is soft and has two different textures along it: 4 ribs that wrap around the middle and soft lines around the bottom that run parallel to the shaft. These are good for those who are curious about texture but don't know where to start.
** Function and Performance **
2 AAA batteries are all you need to start this vibe up. It has a decent amount of power for its small size--- and a sound level to match it. Mine may have been a dud, but the the battery compartment is loose enough that you can hear metal buzzing from Timbuktu.
The vibration is a simple steady buzz that increases with intensity as the operator wheel is turned on the bottom of the toy.
When it works right, the sound can be virtually silent. I recommend planning for the worst but hoping for the best. In other words, hope it works right but be prepared to have what sounds like a mini weed whacker in your hands!
** Maintenance/Care **
Softee Pleaser is said to be waterproof, but the seal on mine is too large and isn't fitted right to keep water out. This makes me leery to use it in the water. I suggest you check yours out to ensure that it seals well and can get wet safely.
If you do use this in the water, a)I highly recommend keeping it as dry as possible(don't fully submerse it) because the sleeve isn't sealed on either, and water can get in between said sleeve and the plastic causing mildew or breakdown of the TPE; and b)make sure you take the batteries out and let it air dry to keep corrosion from happening.
TPE is pretty safe, rating a 6/10 on Eden's safety guide, but it is still porous so care should be taken when using and storing it. Condoms are recommended for shared use and warm water and soap always do the trick for cleaning it up well!
