Slim silicone with soft vibration: good for beginners.
A small, quiet toy perfect for those new to vaginal vibration, penetration, or sex toys in general. For those who need a little extra stimulation, this can also be used as an anal vibrator alone or in conjunction with a stronger clitoral vibrator (my preferred use for it).

Pros
Small size and gentle vibration, pretty quiet.
Cons
Too gentle for my taste, and a very small body for those accustomed to penetration.
I got the Slimline Odyssey for free with a large order on another sex toy site. While I was excited to try a new toy, it isn't something that I usually would have ordered for myself, since I prefer larger toys and stronger vibration than this little guy has to offer.
When I got the package, I opened it up to give it a try, and was surprised by its small size. The insertable length is about as long as my middle finger, maybe a little less than 4 inches. One interesting and unique feature is the flare at the base of the shaft, which is covered in small nubs that vibrate lightly on the clit and vulva when the toy is turned on. The Slimline Odyssey is made of a silicone composite, meaning that it isn't safe to use with silicone lube! Also, because it isn't pure silicone, I would consider using a condom when inserting this toy.
I tried the toy vaginally, but found that it was too small for my taste, and didn't do much for me as far as penetration goes. Using the tip as a clitoral vibrator helped intensify the sensations, but still didn't quite do it for me, being accustomed to stronger vibration.
While I wasn't crazy about this toy for vaginal play, I did find another use for it. Because of the large flare at the base and delicate vibration, I think that this makes a perfect beginner's anal vibrator! The small nubs on the flare stimulate the perineum, while the head of the toy is a small enough to insert easily, even for those without a lot of anal experience. This toy definitely helped introduce me to how great anal play can be, and would work for people of any sex!

Experience
I later made a second large order to the same sex toy company, and received a SECOND free Slimline Odyssey! Since I already had one, and it wasn't getting much use, I gave the second to a partner. She wasn't used to much penetration, and found many average-sized toys were too big for her, but loved the Slimline Odyssey. She hadn't used many toys in general, and the subtle vibrations worked great for her, providing all the clit and vaginal stimulation she needed to get off again and again. So while this toy isn't really to my taste, it is a good toy that I would recommend to someone looking for a smaller-than-average insertable toy or subtle, soft, quiet vibration.

Nice review-- how do you clean it? Do the batteries come out? I think you left out some details
-
Haha, I totally did, thanks. It takes two AAAs, and they do come out, by twisting off the bottom of the toy. It can't be fully submersed in water like some silicone toys, so I usually a) use a condom on it (also helps with the fact that it's not pure silicone) and then b) remove the batteries and wash the silicone part of the toy with water and gentle soap and/or use a toy cleaner on it.
