The Seduction is made of Plastic. It has this velvety soft coating on it that makes it feel as smooth as satin. It feels amazing against skin as if you're rubbing suede over yourself. It's completely smooth to the touch.

It had a slight rubber smell to it out of the package but I had to hold it directly under my nose to notice it. It went away completely after one simple washing with soap.

As far as taste its as if you just licked satin fabric sort of. No taste really just the texture of it.

The color is a vibrant red with a matte satin finish. Seduction has an insertable length of 5 3/4" and a total length of 7". There is a bulb towards the tip where the motor is situated and the vibration is strongest. It's also very light at 0.3lbs which is nice if you take longer to orgasm. Your arm won't be feeling like you just worked out after.

There is a seam running down both sides. It's barely felt with the hands and you have to look very close to even see it. It's completely unnoticeable while in actual use.

Made of plastic it is completely inflexible and has no give, just like with other plastic toys. The satin finish however made it feel softer and less rigid that a traditional plastic vibe though.

The bottom cap unscrews to reveal the battery casing. Just remove the paper tag inside. There is the typical O ring that fits snugly around the threading to keep it waterproof. On the cap is the button to press to turn on/off and change vibration strengths.

The Seduction is a fairly traditional looking vibe so keeping it out in open view is probably not best. Though its smaller size makes it easy to hide anywhere.

While its small size is ideal for beginner users the little flares this toy has will keep it interesting for advanced users too. The bulb, its strength, and the fact that it's waterproof all will keep it in your regular rotation, or be great as an only toy to have.

The controls on this toy are one of its best attributes. One simple button. Push once to turn on the low setting. Push again for medium. Again for high. And once again to turn off.

There are no pulses or variations. Just a steady constant vibration. There is only a slight variation in the strength of the vibrations but it is a very powerful and strong vibration to start with so this is no problem.

The heart of the bulb is where the vibrations come from. This makes it ideal for nipple, clitoris, or G spot stimulation. It does make the entire shaft vibrate as well, so even basic insertion will feel amazing.

The tin did say waterproof and as I've been having trouble lately finding one that truly is I put this toy to the test. First a dip in the sink, then a try in my shower, and lastly a trip into my tub. This toy passed every test with flying colors. No water at all in the battery compartment. I finally have a toy I can trust won't be destroyed with water play.

If there was one complaint I had to make about this toy it would be how loud it is. Even on low it is a bit noisy. While in water this obviously isn't a problem, the toy can not be used while anybody is in a room with you discreetly. If you share a room this will be a big problem. Even inserted and under covers you can still hear it buzzing away. However under covers you can't hear it in another room with a door closed.

This is one of the easiest toys I have ever had to care for. It doesn't attract lint, and is waterproof so you don't have to worry about getting it too wet. To clean just use your toy cleaner, or antibacterial soap and water. Just be aware that it is plastic so boiling hot water is not recommended.

It can be easily stored in the case it came with but will also do nicely in a toy bag or box. Since it doesn't attract lint or fuzzies, for more discreet storage a cloth bag will work. It's non porous so you can store it with other toys if you'd like.

Can be used with silicone, oil, or water based lubes. However I found very little need for any lubricant.

As with all other Evolved Toys the packaging is elegant and classy. A red elastic bow slips off easily to reveal a silver metal tin. The tin itself is trimmed in black and purple writing and embossments as well. Pop the top and bottom metal clasps off to take off the clear plastic lid. The lid has a silver outline sealed in it to silhouette the toy inside nicely. Inside the toy is nestled in a removable plastic tray. Be sure to remove the paper inside the battery compartment before inserting them.

You could easily store your toy in the tin or simply remove the plastic tray and use the tin to store more toys. It is very beautiful packaging if you decide to give as a gift, but be aware it is not at all discreet as to what you're giving.

On the back of the tin there is a small description of the toy, its functions, and features of it. The only problem I do have with the packaging is that in its own fine print it tells you "This product is sold and should be used as an adult novelty only and should never be other than for external use." It's always just odd to me to see what is obviously a vibrator labeled this way. I hate when I see this. Though it is nothing new for companies to do.

*The tin I received is different that what is pictured and what other reviewers have received. Mine was not the white with red trim tin. Also my lid was not all see through. This may be due to them changing the packaging after a holiday season. Just a note to others that you may receive a silver tin and not white as well.
