Seems like a better idea than it is
I was personally disappointed by this vibrator. While it was great for quiet masturbation while living with others and discreet storage, I found shuffling through the various settings and the charging system to be needlessly complicated. My Mia broke in 4 months anyway. Not worth the money, if you ask me.

Pros
quiet, discreet
Cons
easily breakable, expensive, more complicated than it needs to be
This hard plastic vibrator is unique in that it has a usb plugin and is rechargeable instead of battery-operated. It is also very discreet and comes in a nice box that is good for bedside storage and can be left out in the open. Really, you never have to worry about your vibrator being discovered again, because even upon close examination it just looks like some kind of weird lipstick/flash drive hybrid. It's fairly quiet and powerful enough to get the job done.
This is my first non-battery operated vibrator, and I was a little disappointed. The concept seemed great, just plug the vibrator into your computer when you're low on battery. However, this is not something you necessarily want to do mid-masturbation. When the power goes off right when you're about to orgasm, you're going to wish you could just reach for a pair of batteries and keep going, at least that's how I felt. To top it all off, my Mia broke in about four months of use (and not even vigorous use). I'm used to vibrators not lasting a long time, but for the price I expected a bit more from the Mia.
As someone who lives with roommates, this is the quietest vibe I've ever had and that was a really important quality for me. It was also nice how discreet it was and that I could leave it out in its box without worry. There are multiple options for vibration which I enjoyed, although the +/- system made it a little more difficult to turn off than I would've liked (not a deal breaker, but still). On a whole, I also prefer a vibe with a less diffused vibration, with a distinct head or something like that.
All-in-all, if you have the money to spend, need to be discreet, have roommates/live with your parents or something like that, and like multiple vibration options, this is the vibrator for you. If you just want quickie orgasms with intense vibration and don't need any variation or options and don't mind a little noise, go for something cheaper that will still get the job done (maybe even better).

If your Mia broke within 4 months, you probably had a defective product. It's awesomely lucky that LELO offers a warranty for a new one within the first year, so you might want to check out that manual included in your box.

I agree, definitely contact Lelo, you should be able to get a replacement. Thanks for the review.

I love that LELO toys come with the warranty, it makes spending the extra money worth it. When you do get a replacement maybe charging it up after use might help to ensure it's got the power needed to do the job next time you want to use it. I've got one of these on order & simply can't wait to get it. Thanks for the great review

awesome review! I really like the concept as well, and the price, well I dont think it is that bad... it is too bad it broke about 4 months for you though!
-
Sorry yours broke after only 4 months! I think Lelo is great about honoring their one year warranty though.

Thanks for the review! I don't have a privacy issue at the moment, but I may in the future, so I may have to come back to this product some time. The lack of long-lasting battery power might be an issue, though.
