The Joyballs secret is a vaginal exerciser that targets the muscles in the pelvic region. Exercising this area as you get older can offer different benefits from a better sexual experience to adjusting post-childbirth.

To use this, you insert it vaginally, similar to inserting a tampon. It's easiest to insert when you are relaxed. Once you have inserted it up to the retrieval tab, you can adjust yourself and carry on with your day. It is advised to start by using this for 10 minutes and increasing the length of time as you get used to it.

Once inserted, you will fell the bounce of the weighted balls inside, and this is supposed to trigger your muscles to contract. Though there are weights in the center, it doesn't create any noticeable noise so you can wear this in most situations.

One thing about removal is that I sometimes experience a suction feeling if I've been using this for a long time. The best thing to overcome this is to just relax and remove it as slowly as possible.

The Joyballs secret is hypo-allergenic, latex-free, non-porous, phthalates free and made from silicone. The overall safety of silicone is a 10, making it the safest. I didn't experience any allergic reaction to the material.

The center where the two balls are held together and the retrieval cord are the only parts of this that are flexible. The rest of it is firm and smooth. However, when inserting this can pose a problem since it can drag on your skin. It is suggested in the information leaflet to use a water-based lubricant to help with this.

I usually expect a plastic smell when I come in contact with silicone but this didn't have a strong scent to it. I washed it when I first opened the packaging and the smell was gone.

There are two balls that are connected by a thick silicone strand that has a retrieval tab on one end. The balls are designed to be narrower at the ends and wider towards the center. The point this makes helps with insertion compared to traditional exercisers that are usually round. The center of these have weighted balls that rock back and forth.



This measures to a total length of 4.5 inches but can be inserted for 4 inches. Personally I can't have anything too long or wide. This has a circumference of 4.25 inches and a diameter of 1.25 inches. I thought both of these measurements would be okay for me but I couldn't even insert it fully because it was uncomfortable at first.

The weight of this is 0.3 pounds which is really light, especially for being weighted.

Inserting these with lubricant aren't a hassle for me but there are days I don't have lubricant with me that make it a pain to insert. Retrieval is usually easy unless I've worn it the entire day in which case it takes me a bit longer to retrieve these.

After getting used to this, I don't experience discomfort having them in throughout the day. For most, this won't be too small and will function for them. In the beginning, it will be natural to just have these in and let the weighted balls in the center work but once you get used to having these in, try to contract your muscles.

I think the Joyballs secret perform their core function of being a vaginal exerciser well if used properly.

This is made of silicone which is rated the safest material based on cleaning and chemical reactions. If you do need to use lubricant with this, water-based lubricant is what you will need to use to avoid degrading the quality of the silicone.

To clean, you can put it in a dishwasher or boiling water but I prefer washing it myself with soap and water. It gives me a chance to clean it the way I want by getting into all the nooks and crannies.

Once you've cleaned it, you can keep these in the storage bag that comes with the Joyballs secret but I stick it back into the plastic packaging.

I find that the amount of detail JoyDivision took even just for the packaging is impressive. The packaging of Joyballs secret is sturdy and secure. The outer box is made of carboard but is coated in a plastic film. On the back of the outer box are brief points about the Joyballs secret in various languages. Once you open this, there is a plastic insert that has a mold of the balls so that they can sit in it. Behind this is a leaflet with full instructions and a storage bag that contains a small sachet of lubricant.









After each use, I store the balls back in the plastic packaging which can get annoying to go through so many steps to store it. But there is a silver bag for storage so this shouldn't be an issue for most people.

I've used a few vaginal exercisers in the past. The Joyballs secret has been my first that is made of silicone and also has weights in the center. I like these different features all work together well but the only downfall for me is the size. It was bigger than I expected and took about 2 weeks to get used to.
