Seal or Gerbil?!

The My Pet Vibrator is a cute, powerful, multi-speed toy made of firm silicone. The size is great for many women and can be used for all over body stimulation. It feels exceptionally great on the clitoris and nipples too! It isn't waterproof or quiet, so this isn't a great toy to buy if you need to be discreet and private. But it is a good choice if you like power, good materials, and multiple vibration patterns. Plus, who could say no to that cute face?!

This toy is Vegan safe! The majority, head to middle of the shaft, is made of and covered in silicone. Silicone is safe for the body because it is non-porous, phthalates and latex free, hypo-allergenic, and food-grade. I really like this silicone because it is firm and not sticky at all. It has very little drag and is velvety. Plus the color is pretty and very unique. The rest of the toy is smooth and hard plastic. Enough of the shaft is covered in silicone so the plastic isn't a problem if it gets covered in lubricant. The end of the toy has an acrylic gem. None of the materials have a smell or taste.

I usually hate animal shaped toys; they just creep me out. But this one is so damn cute! I wish I could figure out what the heck it is though. It looks like a walrus or seal, or even a gerbil. Anyhow, the head has the most adorable face complete with whiskers and a kissing pucker. The rest of the shaft has four deeply grooved ridges designed to add vaginal stimulation during thrusting.

In terms of size, this isn't huge. It is just under 6" in total length, but since the button is placed so high, it only has about 3" of insertable length. The thickest part is around the head and is a little over 5" in circumference. The thinnest portion is around the shaft in between the ribs. This area is 4 1/2" around. The head is great for insertion since the animal has a pointed nose. This is also designed to hit the g-spot.

The end of the toy has a giant gaudy fake crystal thing. It reminds me of this silly game I used to play with my best friend called "Tales of the Crystals". I'm not really sure what the connection between animal, vibrator, and crystal is, but it looks a little silly. It makes this toy less discreet than it already is. It is ok for travel though since it isn't huge and doesn't collect a bunch of dust.

To operate this toy is easy; there is only one button. It turns the toy on and off as well as cycles through all four intense vibration settings.

1. A very strong but loud vibration setting that can be heard through a closed door.
2. A very strong and fast pulsing that is quieter, but could probably still be heard through a closed door.
3. The third setting is hard to explain. It is like a shuddering-a VERY fast pulsing. I loved this setting a lot and have never found it on another toy. It is the quietest of the settings, but still loud.
4. The fourth is the same strength as the first but it stops and pulses 3 times before repeating.

The vibrations travel through the silicone extremely well, while being concentrated in the head. They don't travel well to the plastic, which may be why the control button lies at the lowest point on the silicone. I really liked the vibration patterns, I just wish there was one that was less strong so I could work up to this power. The third setting was my favorite, but unfortunately just felt like a steady vibration when inserted.

The ribbing felt awesome and so did the girth of the vibrator. I was frustrated by the control button being so high though. It can be inserted inside the body, but then it's not like I press the button with my kegel muscles. They are strong...but not THAT strong! I wish this toy had an extra inch in length. It hit my g-spot but wasn't enough to produce a g-spot orgasm.

This toy takes three AAA batteries that are provided. Usually I’d recommend using your own because companies often provide weak ones, but these give a hell of a lot of power. The gem screws off and an insert comes out where you put the batteries. This toy is only splash proof so be careful when cleaning and of course don't use it in the shower or bath. To clean use mild soap and water on the part that is inserted, being careful to not soak the end of the vibrator. You can use an anti-bacterial toy spray also. Store this in a cool dry place and make sure it is not touching other toys.

The packaging is kind of excessive. It is much larger than the toy and takes up too much room during storage, so I suggest ditching it and using a plastic bag or silk pouch. The package is plastic and has a cute picture of a couple on the front. On the back there is only a little information about the toy and says that it is made in China.

I rate this toy 4 stars. The vibrations were great and so was the ribbing, but I wish this toy was a little longer or the control button lower on the shaft. It may have been able to produce g-spot orgasms if it were just a tad longer. I also wish it was waterproof. The silicone feels great and I actually don't mind the animal face.
