It is slightly hook shaped and tapered which makes the measurements a bit difficult to get correct. The shaft varies from one inch to a half inch, back to an inch.

The size is great for all users, the powerful and deep vibrations can be a bit overpowering but will stimulate an orgasm in no time flat. This is an easy toy to hide, but is in no way discrete. The control is on the bottom and is a dial that turns for intensity. The vibrations are located on the back of the top but translate well down the shaft. I was scared to use this in the water and will have to wait for the replacement.

I washed this vibrator in soapy water, rinsed well and dried immediately. I then cleaned it with toy cleaner for disinfectant purposes. It cleans very easily and as long as you are careful to clean the clitoral recess, G-spot knob and area around the top of the battery base carefully, you will have no problem with any germs or unwanted residues.

This toy is compatible with all types of lubricants, but I use water based for easy clean up and health reasons. Silicone should probably be used if you want to use this hummer in the water, though.

I store this with other plastic toys in my toy box, but I do put it in a plastic zip lock bag for cleanliness. I do make a point of keeping it away from more temperamental materials such as jellies or silicones due to the 'melting' that can happen with these materials.

This vibrator heats up to a painful warmth after six minutes of use. I have read other reviews and have come to the conclusion that my vibrator is defective. I will write a follow up after I have received a replacement. I can then expand on usage and include tub/shower use.
